Great for a small office!

I received this product for free from Influenster! This product is great for small offices where large amounts of coffee can be made and you never have to wonder when it was made or if the coffee has gone cold. People can made individual cups throughout the day instead of having to make large carafes each time. It's also great people who have like to entertain at night and want to offer coffee to their guests. It has a sleek design and it doesn't take up too much counterspace! The coffee itself can be a bit acidic, but I'm not sure if it's the coffee itself versus the machine. I need to try more k cups before I know!
Pros: Pleasing Aroma
Cons: Unbalanced Or Sharp Acidity

Everything I wanted in my old Keurig

I am so excited that Keurig added many features to the Keurig to create the 2.0. There are a lot of things that I used to say, "if the Keurig had 'X', it would be awesome". First, the carafe. We got rid of our regular coffee pot for space purposes. When we entertain, we were stuck brewing individual cups of coffee. We were actually going to invest in another coffee pot until Influenster approached me about reviewing the Keuring 2.0 for free. Now, I can get my individual cup when it's just me and my husband or a carafe when I'm entertaining. Next, the digital displays. I am so happy everything is so sleek and upgraded. It really brings it to the next level. While it's not necessary to have different colored lights in the water reservoir, it's really cool!! Finally, the overall design is just an improvement. The reservoir has a flip top that you can just flip over instead of removing the whole things. The spill tray is easier to remove and clean. There is less nooks and crannies to clean. The brewing chamber, I feel, is less mechanical and is smoother to operate. Overall, good job Keurig!

Nice Upgrade but could be better

I received a Keurig 2.0 from Influenster for an honest review. I owned an off brand K-Cup maker previously and the new Keurig 2.0 is an amazing step up. It brews better than the off brand did and I have no issues getting a full brew out of a K-cup no matter if I swap from 6 to 8 or 10oz's, an issue I had constantly with my old one. I love the auto set for the carafe. While I wish it had one that worked for a single cup it's not a big deal because it takes a mere minute to get a single hot cup of coffee or tea. With the auto set for the carafe though I can have 2-3 (or more) cups brew while I get the kids ready for school. The ease of swapping back and forth between single cup to multiple cups is a huge plus for me beings I'm the only coffee drinker in my family. The water reservoir has a wonderful lighted feature, which includes working as a night light and four different colors to choose from. The reservoir also comes with a new feature, a water filter! The display is also a nice feature with clear digital read/view. You can set the Keurig to Eco mode which will turn off the machine after a specified amount of time. There is also the option to change the background of the display by being able to choose from several options of color or patterns. The two biggest cons I have found are 1.) That old K-cups (before June 2014) and non K-Cup brands no longer work in the Keurig's. While I do understand the reasoning behind this I find it slightly annoying but Keuring is making it right by replacing up to two boxes of K-Cups for you. One of the new feauters of the K-Cup Keurig is that you can now request a strong cup of coffee/tea or you can choose a non coffee setting for things like tea or hot chocolate. From my understanding the machine can only do this with the new cups because of the technology used. Which also explains why non Keurig brand K-Cups will no longer work. This (the non brand issue) is the least of my issues. I have no problem with a brand name maker requesting that their customers use their brand only. I view this in much the same way that game consoles aren't able to crossover or certain brands of computers. 2.) The second issue and the one I take issue with more is the fact that the carafe isn't a thermal one and doesn't keep heat well. By the time I'm done with my first cup the 2 or 3 cup has gotten cold and requires to be reheated. Something that's never good for already brewed coffee. My hope is that Keurig comes out with updated carafe's that can hold heat better. Over all I am thoroughly pleased with the Keurig 2.0 and would recommend it to someone in the market for their first Keurig or an upgrade to an old one if the ability to brew more than one cup on occassion is desired.

I received this product free from Influenster for testing and review purposes. I loved the color changing light and personalization for the brewer. I love being able to brew more than one cup at a time. I like setting a timer for brewing. I thought it was very hard to change the water filter. It was a bit bigger than my old Keurig.

A great, smart brewer!

I received the brewer free for testing and review from Influenster. I was really excited when I received the new Keurig, I had read such great things about it and it didn't disappoint. Set up was relatively easy if a little time consuming. I was especially happy that it has a larger water reservoir and that it has a easy lift lid that is much better than taking the lid off! It is great a brewing single K-cups and you can even choose the strength and size of the drink on the touch screen display. The best thing about the brewer is it's ability to brew a Carafe and also that you can set a time for it to start brewing. I really love that as it makes mornings so much quicker! The brewer itself is a wonderful design and is a great addition to the counter! My only complaint about the brewer is that you can only use the new K-cups with it. I don't mind but I would like to see more choices as I do miss my Twining's! What would I like to see next? The ability to brew a big pot of tea!! All in all I think this is a great brewer and has some really good new features over older Keurig systems.

2.0 Is Amazing

I was given the new 2.0 as a gift from Influenster! My old Keurig does not even come close to being as awesome as my new 2.0! This brewer does everything but fold my fresh dried laundry. Its amazing. I love the touch screen and how it displays the time. I also love how I can change the color of the water with lighting to fit the mood or match the color of my kitchen. Lets get to the best part, it not only can brew my regular cup but it can also brew 4oz, 6oz, 8oz, 10oz and a whole carafe! How wonderful is that! Im super excited about the carafe because now I can share with my mom in the morning instead of fighting over who gets to make their cup first. I think the only down part to this brewer is that you can only use Keurig brand kcups. The 2.0 scans the pod before it brews and if it is not a Keurig brand cup, it wont brew. Ill be honest. I am a stay at home mom of 6, I don't always have the money to spend on name brand coffee. It was nice to be able to get a store brand in place of the Keurig when I didn't have the means for it. If I could, I would always buy the Keurig brand Kcups, but I can. Other than this, the 2.0 has everything you could want in a brewer, it really is amazing. I would for sure recommend this to everyone in need of a new brewer.

How I love the Keurig 2.0!!

I absolutely love this new Keurig! Having the ability to make a pot of coffee instead of one cup at a time is brilliant. I am so pleased to have received this for free from Influenster for review and testing purposes. I want to drink coffee all day now, but probably need some sleep!

Best Invention Yet!

I can't say enough good things about this latest invention! I love my Breville Keurig Brewer, but this cuts the cake. For those who complain about using only Keurig brand k-cups - be creative, geez. I love the Carafe added feature the most. I love having my coffee ready when I wake up and ready to go. Wish that it would keep the coffee warmer longer, so I think for the price we're paying we should have had the stainless steel carafe for free. Especially for those who pay for the K550 version. I'm also hoping there will be more flavors for the Carafe pack.
