Maybe I'm a Keurig Convert

I received this product (free) for review purposes from Influenster and I am impressed (almost converted). I love coffee and have multiple coffee makers and pour-over station equipment at home. Never did I think to spend my money on a keurig. I have used one at other people's houses and thought the brews to be a bit weak. With the addition of a 'strong' brew option, I think I may be a convert to the keurig 2.0. I brewed a few different varieties already and they were aromatic and tasty. Definitely something I will use a lot (especially when I'm rushing in the morning before work) It's fast, easy to use, and makes a pretty good cup of coffee. I like.

I really enjoyed the carafe because whenever I have people over, having to make one single cup at a time becomes a chore. The digital display is easy to read and the touch screen is very cool. I was not a fan of the water filter process because I had a somewhat difficult time removing the plastic pieces to place the filter (I as worried it would break if I applied to much pressure). I received this from Influenster for testing for free and am overall, very pleased.
Pros: Digital Display, Makes More Than 1 Cup, Pleasing Aroma, Exceptional/Interesting Flavor

Pros and Cons

I was gifted this product for review purposes from Influenster.com. I was excited to receive this to review! My old Keurig was the most basic model you could buy. This was a huge step up! My husband and I have used it every day for the last week, and I've noticed both good and bad things about it. THE GOOD: 1. Because it has a large reservoir, it's able to preheat water as soon as it's turned on and brews a cup within seconds. 2. It's attractive--the colored lights are a fun touch. 3. CARAFES. My husband drinks more coffee than I do, and he really enjoys being able to brew an entire pot. 4. Auto-on/off feature. I'm a writer, and it's nice to be able to walk downstairs for a pre-dawn writing session and brew a cup of coffee within seconds. It's also great that it turns off by itself! 5. The carafe pods are easy to recycle--I wish the single-cup pods would have the same removable pouch inside. THE BAD: 1. It's huge. I live in an 800sqft townhouse with a small kitchen. Counter space is at a premium, and this machine takes up twice the space of my old machine. That alone would have deterred me from making this purchase on my own. 2. DRM pods--this is the biggest reason for my 3-star review. The pods from my old machine won't work with the new one--I have a few left over. The biggest issue with this, however, is that my reusable cup will not work. It's INCREDIBLY wasteful. Overall, my experience has been positive--I just wish I could use my reusable cup with the new machine. There's no difference in coffee quality between the reusable cup and the pods, and the reusable cup is much more sustainable and eco-friendly than the pods. Thank you, Keurig and Influenster, for allowing me to try this machine!

In Love with My New Keurig 2.0!

I received a Keurig 2.0 complimenary from Influenster. I am absolutely in love with this coffee maker. My favorite feature is the ability to choose the strength and size of your drink. The customizable lighting, wallpaper, and clock are fun to play with. I love that I'm able to brew a single cup for myself or a carafe to share with my roommates! This machine works flawlessly.

Lots of improvements!

I received the new 2.0 free from Influenster for testing purposes. We had purchased our first Keurig in the spring, an Elite model and loved it! Prior to that we had a Tassimo system. We switched from Tassimo to Keurig because the Tassimo discs were not as readily available as the Keurig pods. This new brewer is definitely a step up from the Elite! The touch screen display is very nice! One of my favorite features is the auto shut off timer. My husband would always forget to shut off our old model. I love that the water reservoir holds so much water. It does kind of stink that you have to use certain pods with this new brewer and store brand pods or the reusable cups don't work, but I was used to this with the Tassimo system and honestly I can't blame Keurig for doing this. It was a smart move on their end! The carafe feature is really nice for those days both my husband and I want coffee when we're working from home. Overall, we love it! I'll be selling the Elite and sticking with the new 2.0!

I use the product every single day! It is absolutely great for sharing coffee with guests. The carafe makes it easier than making numerous single cups. The touch screen with time display is a great extra. Absolutely love the machine.

Love the Keurig 2.0!

I got this product to try out for free and review as a part of the Influenster program. Normally, I do not drink hot coffee, but I am now addicted to using my Keurig 2.0. It was super easy to set up; it was ready to brew in less than 10 minutes. It makes the coffee really quickly, and it wasn't a hassle to clean up after or anything. I also enjoyed the concept of the touch screen and the fact that you can change the light color that reflects in the water. Also, you can alter the size of the cup you want to brew based on the ounces. The only negative thing I would say is that you cannot use original K-cups with the Keurig 2.0. Other than that, I would recommend buying this Keurig to anyone, especially people who aren't technology oriented since it is so easy to use.

I received the Keurig 2.0 for free from Influenster to use and review in exchange for my honest opinion. This system is definitely one of the best upgrades yet. I love that the machine can be customized to your own personal settings, this includes language, autobrew, nightlight, energy saver, and so many more features. It has different single cup settings and sizes and also for the carafe. Overall it's easy to use and learn. If you love to try new coffees this is definitely the machine for you. You can also upgrade your carafe to the stainless steal thermal one for only $29.99. The only thing that I didn't like is that the Keurig 2.0 will not be able to use the My K-cup refillable cups. Other than that, this is the perfect machine for the barrista and coffe connoisseur in the family!
