Fast, User Friendly, My New Obsession!

We had the desktop version of a Keruig before this, so I must say this is a MAJOR upgrade. Though we got a few KCups included, I really wanted to try my favorite coffee in it. I went to pop in a Kcup and I got an error that it wasn't a KCup brand (though it was). After tweeting Keurig, they told me that the 2.0 requires the NEWLY re-designed KCups. Be cautious when buying new KCups for this machine :) Hesitantly, I put in a KCup I never had before- and LOVED THE FLAVOR! The machine spit out the coffee almost instantly. You can choose what size cup (4oz, 6oz, 8oz, 12 oz) or choose the Carafe size. YES- I said CARAFE!!! IT'S AMAZING!!!! You can brew a whole pot, instead of one at a time. You can also set the timer so your coffee is brewing when you get up. I'd recommend this to anyone, anytime. I used it 4 times in one day! LOVE LOVE LOVE!

Love Brewing Carafes!

Disclaimer: I received this brewer as a gift via Influenster, in order to test the product. I really like that I am able to now brew a carafe of coffee using the easy and clean Keurig system! This is, in my mind, the best use of this machine. It's so convenient and easy! I also appreciate that the new pods are easy to recycle and compost, with some simple dismantling. I'm disappointed that there is a whole new system of individual pods, though, and especially that you cannot use your own choice of coffee grounds in a refillable pod, as you can with earlier Keurig models. I use Keurigs at home and in office, and will continue to use earlier models, because I can brew locally roasted, fresh ground beans in them. I cannot do that with my 2.0 machine. I'm concerned about the limited options this new system has, and being completely beholden to what Keurig wants to offer, and at their prices. Still, I'm hoping that this is just the beginning, and that soon Keurig will offer a refillable pod, both for single cups and carafes! If so, this will be my new main brewer at home!

I recieved this product for testing purposes from Influenster. I loved my old keurig and still enjoy this one. It has an easy use touch screen and is very pleasing to the eye! The only problem I had with it was it felt the brews were weak even when I selected for them to be made strongly. It may have just been the K-Cups I had, I intend on ordering the bold brew ones off the Keurig website. I really do like the carafe brews, it makes mornings easier with the auto brew as well.

Cons: Not Enough Flavor, Roasted Too Light, Thin Or Watery Mouthfeel/Body, Watered down taste

My Favorite Kitchen Appliance

I had never had nor used a Keurig before I received this one complimentary through Influenster for product testing. Now I don't know how I survived without it! I have only had it a full day and have already used it several times. It is quick and easy to use. My whole family is enjoying it. It fits in wonderfully with my kitchen decor. My husband really likes that it has an energy savor option. I like that you can choose the strength of the brewing. I prefer my coffee a little weaker, while my husband enjoys it strong. It allows me to save my preferences. All I have to do is pop in the k-cup or k-carafe, touch the button for my favorite setting, and push the brew button. So easy peasy! I only wish that I could use the refillable cups that are available out there. It is a little pricey to buy the k-cups and this machine only reads the ones that are appropriately labeled. I have some sample variety packs of k-cups from before this machine was manufactured I guess, and it won't read them so they are useless. Other than the price factor, I absolutely love the Keurig 2.0 model 550 and plan to use it often.

Amazing Cup of Coffee!

I received the Keurig 2.0 free from Influenster for testing purposes. I love the water filter attachment that insures a cleaner cup of coffee. The carafe is a great addition, especially with company. The flavor of the coffee is exceptional. I love the features of the Keurig 2.0 including auto shut off, night light, and the wallpaper! The brewing time is adequate and the coffee is the perfect temperature. You can even make the brew stronger. It is an awesome product.
Pros: Exceptional/Interesting Flavor, Balanced Acidity, Pleasing Aroma, Attractive Mouthfeel/Body

Good new ideas, but disappointing limits

I received this keurig for free for review purposes. I like how you can make a cup or carafe. I like the programming capabilities. The nightlight and clock are nice, too. However, I am disappointed that I can't use any old k-cups or refillable k-cups. I can understand limiting the k-cups to "official" ones, but you are also keeping us from using your own refillable cup. If you fix this limitation, i'd give it 5 stars.

I really love this coffee maker and I thank Influenster for the chance to review this product. And even though I got it for free it in no way changes how I feel about it. We currently owned a later model of the Keurig and love it. And this one is so much better from a night light to auto brewing to being able to do 4-5 cups at a time not to mention the 80 oz. water reservoir. This is deff going to be sticking around.

Influenster tester Loves her new machine

Love how easy the Keurig 2.0 is to use, it really is a beautiful machine! I received this machine through Influenster for free to test and review, and I am really happy I was selected for the Keurig campaign! I love that I can brew a whole carafe if I need to, and when the whole family is home, I usually do! The carafe itself is also state of the art. We make hot coffees, iced coffees, hot teas, iced teas and even fraps when we pair it with our handy ice shaver! Let's get back to it being a beautiful machine...even when not in use, it looks gorgeous with it's sleek design and the light glowing inside of the water tank(which by the way I love that I can now see the water tank),currently I have selected it to glow green! So fun! The lid reading technology for the K Cups seems to be working wonderfully... each carafe AND/OR cup I have brewed is right on point! Not too weak, not too strong, just the way it should be. I can even set it up to brew at a certain time, so while I am forcing myself out of bed in the morning, my morning coffee or tea will already be brewing and It's one less thing I have to worry about and I can just grab it as I walk out the door. I have always been a fan of Keurig, as we have one of the original machines,but the Keurig 2.0 really outdoes itself. Kudos to Keurig for revolutionizing the way the world makes and drinks coffee once again!!! #hellokeurig
