This pot is replacing my Platinum that was over 4years old and well used. At first I was hesitant because of the extreme amount of negative reviews. However, I continue to research the 2.0 model but watching videos and additional reviews. Then I began to see all the different features and upgrades. I knew the K550 was going to my new Keurig. The pro's surpass the 3cons. The main one being the plastic carafe does not retain heat for any length of time. So simple solution purchase a thermal one. Just use your Rewards point to defray the cost. Having to hold the button for hot water but I will get use to that. The last was people would say they were unable to use loose coffee. Not true there is an insert to solve that problem. Go for it....make it YOUR new Keurig.
Pros: Larger Resovoir, Easy to use, Carafe Mugor Cup Pods, Personalize It, Pick The Strength, Ease of use, You Can Brew Loose Coffee
Cons: Plastic Carafe, Water Have To Hold Button

Easiest Way to Make a Great Cup of Coffee!!

Every morning, I preheat my Keurig 2.0. A minute or two later, I pop in a pod and in 45 seconds, I have a full bodied and fresh cup of coffee to start my day. I have owned several competing makes of machines and none can hold a candle to the newest Keurig. I love this thing!! I will receive compensation/free product for my unbiased review.

For the price One would assume there would be a filter and a holder included. Manual doesn't even mention one can be purchased. The holder and filters on a popular website ended costing me another 35-40 bucks. Also does not accept k-cups that specifically state they are made for Keurig. What a shame.

Cons: Coffee Doesn't Stay Hot, Loud

I had a personal Keurig which I was happy with. I just celebrated my 25th anniversay with my employer. At that time I was given a special gift. I had several items and categories to choose from. I was looking for something that I felt I and my famiy could use. I saw the keurig 2.0 K550 brewer. I really liked that I could brew different size cups which I was not able to do with my personal brewer. I will admit I wasn't sure that I really needed to get the new one because I did already have one. However, I did decide on the Keurig 2.0 and have not regetted my decision. I absolutely LOVE this brewer. I cant believe that I even considered not going with it! Thank You so much for this option of a brewer that will do various cup sizes as well as the caraf!!!!

Cons: Coffee Doesn't Stay Hot, Have Brewing Temp Options

this item was purchased as an upgrade after having another model and so far have been very happy with it. The carafe is an added bonus as our other model did not have this feature. Love it! Thanks, Keurig, for the free pods for this review.
