WOW! I think you know messed up!

It looks nice, but it all stops there. I have the K500 series, with returning to the store and to Keurig I have been through 3 machines! the nightlight "time setting" has not worked on any of them. which is something important to me for our kitchen. the accuracy of the ounces is off (too much or too little water). Not to mention the "Lock Out" of all un-keurig branded coffee pods. I think the people have spoken that is why your stock is at an all time low!

Not all Keurigs are bad...this one is REALLY BAD!

This is the worst Keurig they have ever designed! I am returning mine immediately. I literally pulled my old Keurig out of the garbage, ran it through the dishwasher and started using it again, flawlessly. That being said, Keurigs are not all designed equal. Con #1 It only makes a maximum of 6oz. of HOT WATER at a time. It takes 1. A lift of a handle (check to make sure one of my husband's nasty COFFEE pods isn't still resting in there), 2. Push handle back down (so far, same as older Keurig!) 2. push water button (really? I have to tell a machine that makes hot water for a living that I want it to make hot water vs change the color of the background EVERY SINGLE TIME I use it, even after lifting up and down the handle letting it know it's no longer on a break?), 3. Scroll up and down the only two measly choices they give you for producing a mug of hot water. 4oz or 6 oz. (Really? News alert!! We are AMERICANS! WE LOVE EXCESS!!!! A 6 oz cup of tea isn't enough to even share ONE donut with! We don't do crumpets!) BUT, I do have to admit that I push the 4 oz choice first to flush out the taste of coffee. The first 4 oz is wasted. This does not bode well with me since I live in drought stricken California! Doing this requires you to start over again with Step 1. ...4. Push yet another button telling the machine that makes hot water for a living, that yes, in fact, you really DID want to make water and not change the color of the background screen just as you had told it two steps ago. (Would you just dispense hot water for crying out loud!!!) 5. Wait for the machine to heat up and dispense....wait.....piddle, piddle....wait. (DON"T TOUCH THAT MUG!!!) wait..one LAST piddle and a shake!) That's right, the machine likes to dispense only MOST of the beverage...it makes you wait in upwards of 10-15 seconds before it decides it's time to shake out one more piddle of luke warm water. BUT WAIT! You thought you were done making a mug of tea. OH NO my friend, you are only HALF WAY done. That's right, now you must wait 34 seconds for the machine to heat up again and start all over again from 1. Am I whining because I should just spend 6 minutes waiting for my tea pot to boil? Somewhat....I bought the Keurig to make it faster and simpler. I does neither. Just as every cup of coffee doesn't need to be some fancy, shmancy mocha-lotta-fluff, not every cup of tea needs to be brewed to perfection. Hot water then throw in a bag is all I wish when I still have sheet-wrinkles covering my left cheek! Con #2 I had to be creative to get the taste of coffee out of every cup of tea. In the old Keurig, I use two different pod cups. One for my husband's coffee pods and one for plain hot water or any other NON-coffee pods. Apart from a few hangover slip-ups, it worked great! I had to find a creative way to make what is essentially a flimsy rig. I took a "used" pod of hot chocolate and I reuse that empty pod to run water through it...over and over and over again...until it just doesn't function anymore. I guess the good side of it is: I finally found a way to reuse/recycle those non-recyclable pods!!! Yeah me. The other good news is, by doing it this way, I get a tiny taste of chocolate in my first cup of tea I make with it (who doesn't love chocolate!) and you get WAY MORE choices as to how much hot water you would like dispensed. It goes all the way up to 12 oz! And, you get to cut out 9 steps of the 13 step hot water making process! That sounds like it would make me finally like this machine...and it did for about 2 days. Con #3 There is no easy way to clean all the coffee grounds out of the machine when one explodes during operation. The old Keurig had the pod cup that could be pulled apart and was dishwasher safe! In cases of emergency, I could tip the top of the machine over my sink and carefully run water to wash away the grounds so I wouldn't have coffee tasting tea. See, that's the thing....tea doesn't make coffee taste different, but coffee makes tea taste like yuck! This company should, by now, have thought of a better way to keep the people that drink the MOST POPULAR DRINK in the whole wide world, that would be tea, happy. Con#4 Which brings me to coffee. Here's what my coffee drinking husband says about the machine: It doesn't make the coffee as strong as the old one. It's way louder than the old one. It doesn't make large enough servings. Are you kidding me, it doesn't work with this box of 72 Keurig pods we just bought? It takes way too long. I have to do how many steps to make you a mug of hot water so you can just throw a bag of dried stuff in it? I like the red background. Even though the tank is bigger, we go through more water in it because you make me throw away the first 4 oz of beverage because it tastes like coffee no matter what kind of flavored pod is in it. No one will ever think Coffee tainted lemonade is tasty! Wow honey, we've been yelled at by the machine again to replace the filter and we've only had it two weeks! Con #5, or the reason I pulled my old one out of the garbage. You'd have thought by now that any one of those reasons may be the one to pull my old machine out of the garbage...but no. I'm actually a patient consumer and even went so far as to rig it to work to my satisfaction! But, the last coffee ground filled straw, that broke my favorite mug's back was when the machine REBELLED against me and decided that it would "show me" it could work overtime! It became POSSESSED by the Energizer Bunny! It just kept going, and going, and going. All the while only spitting out 2 tablespoons of beverage at a time and doing a complete heat-up between it's staggering spurts! I had to resort to pulling the plug on the machine...which I did for a whole 2 hours before I just pulled the plug on it for good! I didn't even get to use the carafe!!!
Cons: Loud, Long Brew Time, Complicated Controls, Coffee Doesn't Stay Hot, Limited Features, HARD TO CLEAN

I really like the new Keurig 2.0. I love how it looks and how it makes the coffee. It is nice to be able to make enough for both my husband and I. I don't like that not all Keurig cups work in it. You do have to buy the ones with the white label. I received this product free from Influenster for testing and review purposes.

I wake up on the brewing aroma every morning. The Keurig 2.0 k550 have the option to program the time and make a coffee that can wake you up. I really love it I received it on Monday and I have not stop using it since then! gotta love it! I receive the coffee maker free from Influenster for testing and review purposes.
Pros: Exceptional/Interesting Flavor, Pleasing Roast, Pleasing Aroma, Smooth Taste

Easy to operate

I only have one thing against this machine. K-cups made by any other company besides Keurig will not work. So I have a lot of coffee K-cups that are useless. :( Otherwise, I really like the machine. It works smoothly and quickly which takes some of the stress out of the morning rush.
Pros: Multiple Settings, Stylish, Large Pot, Easy to use, Brews quickly, Easy On And Off
Cons: Only Accepts Keurig Brand
