Have owned several Keurigs in the past. New models have lots of cool features , but have gone backwards in reliability and ease of use. Having to hold down the button for water is absurd Takes away the convenience factor. Descaling becomes a nightmare with holding down the button to cleanse. Hate that!!!
Pros: Brews quickly, Easy to use
Cons: Coffee Doesn't Stay Hot, Hold Water Only, HARD TO CLEAN
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have been a Keurig user for a number of years. My first brewer was a Platinum which I used daily for well over a year. When that machine began having issues, I replaced it with a new platinum brewer which lasted a couple of months. It would take about 5 minutes to brew a single cup. By this time the 2.0s were out and when I contacted Keurig they replaced my new Platinum with a K550. I received that machine and was immediately disappointed by several things, I could no longer use some of the k-cups I had, and with the size of my cups I was having to brew totally differently. This new K550 lasted about a month before it started having problems -- drip, drip, drip, drip to brew. Sometimes for a 10 oz cup I would end up with about 3 oz, and sometimes the cup would run over. So back to Keurig I go. They replaced it with a new K550 which seems to be a bit better, but the issues I have had with this one are in the following list: inconsistent cup size, inconsistent brewing time (may be a minute- may be three), inconsistent temperature (may scald my mouth, may require microwaving). While Keurig customer service has been very accommodating, I should not have to spend my time calling about my issues, getting new machines, returning parts, and never, ever knowing if I'm going to get a decent cup of coffee. I am extremely disappointed in their quality and I fear I may have to give up on Keurig all together.
Pros: Easy to use
Cons: Loud, Inconsistent Cup Size, Not dependable, Extremely Long Brew Time, Not Enough Size Choices, Long Brew Time

A mind of its own...

I was really excited when I received my brewer and used it from September 2015 to November 2015. I was happy with the brewer. However, it began brewing coffee after securing the pod BUT before allowing me to select the preference. It had a mind of its own. It continued brewing until I lifted the handle, but as soon as I put the handle down, again it began brewing. I called and they are replacing the main part of the brewer, which was nice, but making me responsible for paying to mail back the K-Cup piece. No so nice.
Pros: Easy to use, Stylish, Multiple Settings
Cons: Limited Features, Long Brew Time

Water condenses on lid of reservoir, resulting in puddles around the device each time water is added. Splattering requires cleanup of the machine as well as of the entire area around it with each use.
Pros: Water Heats Up Quickly
Cons: Splatter Requires Cleanup

Worst Keurig ever - not happy

Worst Keurig ever. We purchased and it lasted less than a week. Returned to store for replacement. This one has lasted 3 weeks but requires constant needle cleaning. I see why you get 2 free boxes of k-cups if you register the machine. You will need the extra k-cups due to the waste of pods when the machine requires needle cleaning. Pain to use. Not happy.
Pros: None
Cons: Needle Cleaning, Wastes Pods Due To Needle, Loud

Not a machine for everyone

I wish I had read more reviews before I bought this machine. I love my original Keurig K-cup machine!!!! I have deep love, but occasionally when we have out of town guests or a house full of people making a big pot is better. So I was excited to buy this machine. The excitement stopped after unpacking the machine and realizing how the hot water dispensed. I'm a hot tea drinker....everyday!! I like big giant mugs of hot tea. This machine was suppose to have so many different brew sizes. I pop in my tea K-cup and it won't let you brew more than 10oz. I was very upset. It's even worse with bagged tea. It only dispenses 6oz of water at a time and you have to stand there holding the button the whole time. I'm use to multitasking in the kitchen pressing 12oz of water from old machine walking away and coming back to a nice cup of tea. With this new machine I have to go through the motion of flipping and up the top then holding the button till it finishes dispensing all the 6oz. I have to do this THREE TIMES before my mug fills up. Oh and if you slip up or even release the slightest pressure on the button while it's dispensing the water it just stops and all you see is a pitiful amount of water then have to flip it up again. For the rest of the coffee drinkers in the family they were upset that they can't make more then 10oz of coffee from a regular K-cup. We are 12oz tea/coffee drinkers and you have to get a special one to use that size. So now every cup we make just sits at the bottom of all our nice--average size mugs looking sad, won't do more than 10oz. I also use to like the smaller sizes to sometimes and it won't make less than 8oz. I gave our old machine away and miss it. We also have a Vue I might have to set-up next to this 2.0 just so i can make a cup of tea. I rated the machine three stars because it is still good if you just making coffee and you don't mind buying all the different size k-cups. You can't even trip the machine in order to get more hot water...it doesn't give you the option. I really hope Keurig replaces this with something better. I was disappointed. The machine is nice, looks good, and works.
Pros: Works Great, Looks nice
Cons: More Limitations, Can't Choose Size Options, A Pain To Get Hot Water

My wife and I bought this Keurig to replace an older Keurig. We purchased the Keurig 2.0 with the black and white screen. We have used this brewer for a little over a month. Today is 12 January 2016 and the Keurig has stopped brewing hot coffee and is now warm coffee. Takes the Keurig around 8 minutes to brew a 10 ounce cup of coffee. Very disappointed with Keurig. I cannot recommend Keurig products to anyone. For the money spent, this should last over a year.
