go another route

I drink 1 cup of coffee a day, i prefer 10 oz serving. This machine does not serve 10 oz ever despite selecting 10 oz. Only uses Keurig branded cups which is annoying. This is my 3 Keurig machine and they only have about a 1 year life, which is why bed bath and beyond will let you trade the broken ones in. Thus a sign of poor quality, Yes I'm stupid that's why i keep buying them but I will be returning this model today. This morning the machine only made 4 oz of the 10 oz setting, then upon opening the top coffee spilled everywhere and then the machine proceeded to dispense more water. Will not buy another, completely unsatisfied with everything that is made by Keurig.
Pros: It Looks Nice, Stylish
Cons: 10 Oz Is Never 10 Oz, Complicated Controls, Can't Use Other K Cups, Limited Features, HARD TO CLEAN, Poor Quality

Hi Matt, You can try cleaning the water filter or the needle. To clean water filter. To use the water filter, soak and insert the filter cartridge in the bottom of the handle assembly. Simply grasp the handle and insert it into your empty, removable water reservoir. Be sure to push down firmly all the way down to correctly attach the Water Filter to the inside of your removable water reservoir.

This a great machine regardless what the haters say.Keurig put everything in black and white right from the start.So for all you uneducated people that don't understand simple English run out a buy a $30 coffee maker because this machine is not for you!
Pros: Classy, Brews quickly, Durable, Large Pot, Stylish, Multiple Settings, Easy to clean, Easy to use

I have the Keurig 2.0 brewer a mere 6 weeks and just this morning, it stopped working. I called customer support and they told me To clean the needles, as there could be clogged coffee grounds. I followed all the steps, and nothing, still not working. This is my second brewer from Keurig. I will be returning to the store for a refund.

Cons: Limited Features, HARD TO CLEAN

Very disappointed

The 2.0 models are not an improvement in my opinion. They brew the new style k-cup coffee just like the old brewers. But, you can't use your own coffee and reusable k-cup dispenser, and if you want to get a decent size cup of hot water you have to camp out in front of the brewer and repeatedly hold down the brew button while the water dispenses a mere 6 oz at a time. It's ridiculous. When the unit is powered off, there is no time/clock display like the old units had. You can turn on a night light though - available in few different colors...you'll just have to wonder about what time it is when you wander into the kitchen guided by that nifty night light. The older style brewers may not have looked as "sleek" - but they were a lot better and more functional. The 2.0 is a huge step backwards in design and utility. This will be my last Keurig unit unless they fix the simple design flaws and give us back the features they took away. "Thanks Keurig for the free packs for this review"

Love Keurig Coffee Dark Roast Only

My wife and I use our Keurig Plan 2.0 K550 coffee maker daily. Between the two (2) us, approx. ten (10) Kcups pods are brewed each day. We still have the keurig elite brewer and it continues to work very well. The only complaint I have on the K550 is the computer brain that runs the programs shut down three (3) months after purchase. Called Keurig, they are replacing it. I only purchase coffee from Keurig and have for years. Enjoy dark roast extra bold coffee. I am sold on the K550 and will continue to use it. I call it Murphy's Law that caused the glitch on the one I had purchased. I will also state that Keurig stands behind their products.
Pros: Durable, Easy to clean, Brews quickly, Multiple Settings, Easy to use

This machine is a beast! What a wonderful first Keurig. Blew my expectations and am hooked on it at home and on the weekends. I use my Keurig everyday. This is my second brewer and I love that it has all the different features. It is a very stylish and looks great on my new countertops. Love the features that remind me of cleaning and to change the filter. The only thing is I wish the coffee was hotter when it is brewed and wish you could use other K-cups instead of just Keurig because they can get expensive. Great Machine!

I was apprehensive to get the new brewer because some of the reviews were less than sparkling. But, after using it for a few months now, I am totally a fan. I wish it had more control of sizes like the first generation Platinum series, but I've adjusted. Now the fact that you can only use Keurig branded k-cups doesn't bother me and my family at all. We only use them anyway. I love the larger water tank and the ability to customize the colors on the control panel and tank, the ability to brew into the carafe and sleek colors and design. Now the carafe...it's worthless to keep coffee hot for longer than five minutes. The design for that needs serious work. All in all I am very happy with my purchase and would recommend it to family and friends. Thanks, Keurig, for the free packs for this review.
