I have had a Tassimo unit for about 2 years now, and have wanted to replace it as it never made a hot cup of coffee - seriously, straight from the brewer you could stick your finger in and not so much as feel anything. I replaced it twice already. As we have had so much problems, my wife has just bought us the K560 unit from Costco as a Christmas gift to ourselves (and yes we are waiting to open it lol). I have read about the DRM (Digital rights management) and know it was cracked fairly quickly. I know of the work arounds. I have to say - for a guy who hasn't even tried the new unit yet, it feels like Tassimo all over again. Keurig used to have great reviews for customer service and quality - but reading what has happened with the new 2.0 system has me wondering if we should return this unit and get a Dolce Gusto or Nespresso Virtuoline. They cost more, but if it means I don't have to deal with this DRM garbage then maybe it will be worth it in the long run and I'll recoup some back by using my own coffee. The carafe is a nice bonus but not essential to us and does not make up for an all around poorly conceived unit (at least from a consumer stand point). I also do not care that I can change the colours of the water tank or display screen. Those options serve no purpose in brewing coffee.

Hi, we understad your concern! In order for Keurig 2.0 Brewing Technology to deliver the perfect cup or carafe every time, it must read the lid and recognize the K-Cup or K-Carafe pack that has been inserted. Because of this, the system will not brew unlicensed packs. We offer a diverse portfolio of nearly 400 different beverages from 60 brands, giving consumers lots of choices – no matter their taste preferences or their budget. And every beverage and brand that was offered for previous Keurig brewers is also available for our Keurig 2.0 Brewing Technology system! We know that you will find something that you like on this link http://krg.bz/1vuya00
Would not recommend purchasing - I received mine as a replacement and was told it was an upgrade. I would prefer the old model. Don't need all the digital stuff. It needs to make larger cups and be able to use all Kcups not just Keurig brand. Don't think the coffee/water gets hot enough because it gets cold too quick. When brewing, the machine is loud.
Pros: Makes A Carafe Of Coffee, It Makes Coffee
Cons: Have To Use Only Keurig B, Doesn't Make Larger Cups, Loud, Water Doesn't Get Hot Eno

I received the Keurig 2.0 free for testing purposes from Influenster's #HelloKeurig campaign but the review below is, as always, my honest opinion. I love the stylish feel of my new Keurig 2.0 and the fact that it now comes with a carafe, which is perfect in the morning for my husband and I, and still brews single cups for just one. The large water tank is a plus as is the choice of cup size and brew strength. Coffee flavor from Breakfast Blend to Italian Roast to Hazelnut is deliciously perfect. I also love the fact that you are now able to recycle the pod and can easily remove the coffee grounds and filter. Hope they extend that to the cup pods as well. As far as cons, it is a little noisy when dispensing the coffee and, what I think is the biggest drawback, it only uses their brand of K-cups and only if produced after July 2014. One last comment, the water filter that comes with the Keurig 2.0 is very difficult to get apart and, in fact, we broke it trying to separate it to put the filter in. All in all though, I really love my new Keurig and will definitely recommend it to my family & friends.
Pros: Large water tank, Stylish Design, Carafe Brewing, Recyclable Pods, Smooth Taste
Cons: Only Their Branded Pods, Noisy

I use this Keurig daily as a source of my morning coffee since I got it and it's amazing. I stopped going to starbucks everyday and spending $5 for a cup o joe. I seriously don't know how I've survived without it!
I received the new Keurig 2.0 brewing system from Influenster in exchange for my honest review. I had no experience with Keurig previously so this was a whole new ball game in coffee making for me. This machine is perfect for one off cuppas in the afternoon of tea or decaf. But for my coffee guzzling family in the morning, the 4 cup carafe doesn't even fill the travel mugs. Speaking of that carafe, it is a really neat feature and is great for weekend coffee drinking on the porch. The coffee is brewed directly into the thermal carafe which keeps the coffee surprisingly hot for a long time. The machine is easy to use and very stylish although the accompanying user manual did not give all instructions necessary, like how to install and use the water filter. I am a little disappointed not being able to use refillable cups so that we can brew our own favorite locally roasted coffee blends. This new machine only allows for official K-Cup 2.0 cups and refuses to brew anything else. I do like that I am able to choose the size of the cup that I will be filling (6, 8, or 10oz.) and that I can get straight hot water extremely fast. Love that feature. I feel like this brewing system is perfect for light coffee drinkers and folks who like having one off hot drinks throughout the day. I would think this is a great solution for elderly people or folks like me who often forget to turn off the coffee pot, since it is only on when you need it. It makes really good coffee in comparison to a traditional percolator but is less useful when entertaining guests. Overall I like the machine and my husband and I love Green Mountain Coffee so those K-Cups that were included in the box were much appreciated. I will be relegating the 2.0 System to my guest room so that when we have overnight company, they can make themselves hot drinks without leaving the comfort of their room in the morning. Another great use for this really cool coffee maker.
We love our new 2.0. We love our Saturday mornings of drinking coffee and now we don't have to use an indivudal pod for each cup. We love the carafe feature, but the coffee can be a bit watery. The 2.0 has a beautiful body style and looks terrific in our kitchen.
I really like the new technology that the new 2.0 system uses. The carafe feature is AWESOME! The only thing that would be a negative is that some of the k-cups that I own do not have the new "k-cup" logo and will not work in the 2.0 system. Other than that, I give it 5 perks! :) I was provided with the 2.0 as part of an Influenster campaign for testing purposes.
