For the most part--I like it

Overall, I like this brewer. It's unfortunate you can only use Keurig brand K-cups. It would be nice if you could use a reusable cup. The only other negative I have is that you are limited to a 4, 6, 8 or 10 oz cup. "Thanks, Keurig, for the free pods for this review"
Pros: Easy to use, Multiple Settings, Stylish, Brews quickly
Cons: No temperature control, 10oz Is Largest Cup Size, Limited Features
I would recommend this to a friend!

Extremely unhappy with design and features

I drink coffee every morning. My wife drinks tea. With our old Keurig old, after brewing coffee, I could remove the cup holder, rinse it, re-install it, and brew one large cup of water to purge any leftover coffee taste. This could be done by the one push of a button allowing me to do other things while the Keruig purged the coffee taste from the system. With the new unit, complete with non-removable cup holder, after brewing my coffee and removing my K-cup, I have to stand, holding the brew button down waiting for the measely little six ounces (maximum hot water flow) to slowly drip out. Then I have to repeat that process three or four more times to get the unit clean enough for tea water. Hot water should be hot water, not hot water with a coffee tinge. (read false advertising) Maximum coffee brew for this unit is only 10 ounces. The factory default is 8 ounces I have not be able to re-set the default to 10 ounces so each time I brew coffee, I have to select the brew size. Another stupid design feature is the reservour. It it is long and narrow with a skirt extending from the bottom of the reservoir on three sides. It will not stand on its own in a sink and must be held while filling. It is also difficult to handle and reconnect to the side of the unit. I am amazed that Keurig has taken a simple, easy to use product like my old unit and replaced it with an extremely complex unit complete with lots of useless automatic bells and whistles. At the same time, they have reduced consumer control and eliminated the good features that made Keurig a household word. I should also mention that the new unit will not accept any non-Keurig cups or aftermarket loose leaf tea holders. This smells of petty and very unnecessary greed perpetuated by their marketing group. So, I am disappointed. When my old unit quit working, I chose to purchase Keurig again based on my past experience. I won't make that expensive mistake again. Compared to older Keurig products, the Keurig 2.0 K550 is awful. Don't buy!!!! I wish Keurig lots of luck in recovering from this disaster. Can you say VW?
Pros: No pros
Cons: 10 Oz Maximum Brew, Can't Be Cleaned, HARD TO CLEAN, Loud, Fixed Cup Holder, 6 Oz Water Limit, Limited Features, Long Brew Time
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I've got dozens of K-cups with my original brewer and NONE of them fit this new one. A few hundred dollars worth - what a waste! This is just like Apple when they change charging cords every time phones are upgraded. You should be ashamed for misleading customers.
Pros: Multiple Settings, Stylish
Cons: Loud, Complicated Controls, Long Brew Time

BUYER BEWARE

It works great IF you have the right K-cups. I shouldn't have had to look at the proverbial fine print to find out it is not backwards compatible with previous K-cups. There's no reason I should get an "oops" error message. VERY DECEPTIVE. To make matters worse, it is advertised as hot water on demand... Which is true, but ONLY 6 OUNCES AT A TIME? So buyer beware! We like the K-cups that we have but are contemplating returning the unit. Keurig is not the company I thought it was.
Pros: Works
Cons: Deceptive Marketing

I am really satisfied for the most part with my Keurig K550. I love the variety of drinks you can choose from at the store, really, there's so many. This machine is easy to use and it is quick at brewing a warm cup of coffee or specialty beverage (hot cocoa, or even soup!).
Pros: Many Drinks Are Healthy, Many Different Features, Many Diff Drinks To Buy, Easy to use, Quick brewing
Cons: Difficult To Maintain, Ranges From 150-300, Not Able To Make Vodka
I would recommend this to a friend!

Clock runs fast, it's noisy & the reservoir is inconvenient

The clock will not hold time, it runs fast. Reset it yesterday and it's already 4 minutes fast. The reservoir being on the left is very inconvenient & bulky. The water has to preheat after each cup is brewed. It is very noisy when it brews a cup of coffee
Pros: Multiple flavors, Light Flash Low Water, Better Than The K40, Fast
Cons: Clock Doesn't Hold Time, Reservoir Is Inconvenient, Preheats After Each Cup, Noisy When It Brews
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This coffee maker is messed up. It puts grounds in my cup. I have no idea how that can even happen! I have called them and they say I need to clean it. So now I clean it more than I make coffee. Twice it has made coffee and not stopped running water until the tank went dry--what a mess.
Cons: Would Stop Pumping Water, Plugs With Coffee Grounds, Ran Coffee All Over-, Has To Be Cleaned A Lot
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
