This brewer is AWESOME! For starters, it's sleek and stylish design is a great addition to my kitchen. It really doesn't take up much more space than any other Keurig model that I have owned, but the features on the K550 are great. This brewer is fully customizable as far as strength, temperature and quantity go. The full color touchscreen control panel is awesome, and the ability to change the color and appearance of both the nightlight and control panel wallpaper are cool additions. Overall I would highly recommend this brewer. You won't regret the purchase. Thanks, Keurig, for the free pods for this review.

I recently got the Keurig K550 after my Keurig VUE died. There are many similarities between the two machines but the one thing I love about the K550 is that I can use K-cups, which have a much wider variety than the VUE pods that I used to have to purchase. They are also less expensive than the VUE pods. I like the auto on/off feature (similar to the VUE) and the larger reservoir. I also like the option of the carafe for the weekends when my husband and I are home together or when we have guests. The only downside so far has been identified by my husband. The VUE allowed him to brew a 14 oz or 16 oz travel mug of coffee but with the chip technology in the 2.0 K-cups, he can only brew up to 10 oz. of coffee at at time. Sometimes, he will use two K-cups to get the amount of coffee that he likes or will use one of the carafe pods. Overall, I am very pleased with the Keurig K550 and glad that we went with the larger brewing system.

The Best At-Home Coffee Experience

The Keurig 2.0 brewing system is by far the best at home coffee experience. I love the convenience and exceptional coffee quality with every cup. The K-Carafe addition is a huge improvement over previous Keurig Brewers because it allows you to brew a pot of coffee with the same convenience and quality as the original K-Cups, and the best part is that the Carafe is included with the brewer. My only criticism is that there is no physical on/off button, so the display is always lit up - seems like a weird design quirk, but does not detract from how pleased I am with this brewer. Thanks, Keurig, for the free pods for this review.

First of all "Thanks, Keurig, for the free pods for this review." I am EXTREMELY happy with my Keurig purchase. I drink a lot of coffee so I've gone through a couple coffee makers within the past few years. When my last coffee maker broke, I decided to try a Keurig this time. I am very happy with the variety off coffee offered and the variety of brewing options. It's been years since I've had coffee this good. Also I really like Chai Lattes and the Keurig makes a great one. I wish I had bought one of these sooner!

Bought a new machine because my old one stopped working. You would think newer means better, but this is not the case. The coffee is not as hot as the old machine. Can't use adapter to use your own coffee. Only uses K cups. Spent a lot of money to get less of a product. May return it.
