Keurig 2.0 Brewing System

Love the new Keurig! It accepts all K-pods, even from 3rd party companies (although a little jiggery-pokery is needed.) K-cups without a white rim on the label aren't accepted. Pre-heating was a little frustrating, but the new feature for large brewing is amazing and convenient.
Pros: Multiple Settings, Easy to use, Large Pot, Brews quickly
Cons: Pre-heating Is Difficult

I fell in love

Usually I only use fresh ground coffee and either a french press or my Bunn and I never wanted to buy a Keurig. I finally gave in, mostly because I always end up making 4 cups of coffee, because that's the minimum water amount my coffee machine called for. Let me tell you, not only do I like the Keurig, no I am surprised by how much I like it. It's so much fun having a wide variety of coffees and other drinks such as teas and cappuccinos. With this machine you can also brew Keurig Vue cups which come in a nice variety. Overall I must say I am not going back to the old style coffee making, and am looking forward to using my Keurig. I do wish the machine would have an easier way, like a special menu, for like creating a custom brewing cycle or the ability to use a Keurig My K-Cup so I can still use fresh ground coffee if I want to, since not all coffee roasters make k-cups and i do like drinking a variety, and i already know that k-cups aren't enough. Thanks, Keurig, for the free pods for this review.

Could have bought a less fancy model and saved $

I purchased this keurig because our old model stopped working due to scaling. We needed something quick and this was a available at a retailer we shop at. It works good but we could've saved money by not purchasing the 2.0 model because it doesn't accept my refillable kcup (I used this to use my own Folgers decaf coffee) and the carafe only holds 4 cups. It's beautiful, though, and works great! Thanks Keurig for the free pods for this review!

Cons: Can't Use Refillable Kcup, Won't Accept Certain Kcup

Great news!! We’ve heard consumers’ requests and we are actively working on technology advancements to ensure we have a My K-Cup® reusable filter solution that will be compatible with Keurig 2.0 technology. We’re still refining the technology. Our plan is to introduce it for the 2015 holiday season.

My keurig brewer k550 is the best coffee maker I have ever had ,purchased,and be given. The things I like about it are that it gives u the right amount of coffee. When ur in a rush it only takes mins to brew. I can brew. Able to make so many different coffee, tea, only thing that can be better is if the coffee stayed hotter longer.

The new K550 looks so sleek! The water reservoir is updated and more efficient. It is easy to use and still brews quickly. The added carafe is perfect for the weekend! Coffee, of course, tastes amazing. It's a great product! Thanks, Keurig for the free pods for this review!
