After adding cold milk/creamer to your cup, you may have to reheat the coffee, if you like it hot. Hint: Double use the same pod, if a single use is too strong for your taste. Note: Use the carafe, to experiment with the above hint, (i.e. Combination of ounces per each use of same pod, for desired total ounces). Thanks, Keurig, for the free pods for this review.

I have been a loyal Keurig customer for years, this is my 5th brewer. I started with the platinum and just recently upgraded to the 550 and so far its awesome. No complaints. I have been slightly leery after reading other reviews, but Keurig customer service has always taken care of me and shipping is very quick. I recommend this product to anyone looking to get their coffee quickly.

I upgraded to the K550 from an older version. I really like it so far! I love the customizable setting and the option to select brew size and coffee strength. It doesn't hurt that it has such a sleek design and looks nice sitting on the counter. The only think I don't like is that it isn't compatible with the refillable coffee pods. once that becomes available, I would give this coffee maker a 5/5. Easy to use but the box & guide book should indicate more detail regarding k-cups sizes. Also wish it had a temperature control as others used to have. Love that I have so many options & is very convenient.

Thank you for your review and feedback! The Keurig® 2.0 brewing system adjusts the temperature for you based on whether you have inserted a K-Cup® pod or a K-Carafe™ pod. The factory settings are 192 degrees Fahrenheit (89 degrees Celsius) for K-Cup® pods and 197 degrees Fahrenheit (92 degrees Celsius) for K-Carafe™ pods. We have found that these are the optimal brewing temperatures for the K-Cup® and K-Carafe™ pod. We hope this information is helpful.

Excellent Brewer. The larger reservoir is great for people who drink a lot of coffee like we do. The carafe is a wonderful addition for company. The coffee seems hotter than my older model brewer and I love the option to just push a button for a stronger brew. I would definitely recommend this brewer to any avid coffee drinker.

I use my brewer all day every day. I love the auto on/off feature as well as the larger capacity reservoir. I highly recommend that you ONLY use filtered water for making your beverage and for the cleaning of the brewer as the cleaning takes a bit of time and if you have calcium build up it will take much longer. Other than that, I love absolutely everything about my brewer and even purchased a second one as a back up! Thanks, Keurig, for the free pods for this review.

Two carafes are better than one

This is the second 2.0 Brewer purchased because I like the ease of use and care. About once a month I host a card or game night for several friends and wanted to brew a couple carafes of different flavors at once. I'm a huge fan of the Keurig product and upgraded to the K550 for this purchase because of the larger water reservoir and the few additional features over the K450 which I also own.
