I love the style, size and efficiency of this! However, the button needs to be pushed in exactly the right spot or you have to push it a few times to turn it on. And occasionally I've noticed the temperature changes on its own. (We use it for green tea and the temp is specific.)

I bought this kettle to use when making tea by the gong fu method, which involves multiple steeps, all at the same water temperature. This kettle heats the water to the proper temperature very fast and keeps it at that temperature very well. Unlike making pour over coffee, making tea does not require a controlled pour. Rather, you want to splash the tea, and the spout on this kettle is perfect for doing that. This is perfect for tea.

I love the way this look on my counter (though I'm waiting until they have the maple handle in stock so I can replace the black handle and it will look even nicer!). It heats up water very quickly. It's great!
