Upgrade from Original Stagg EKG (Very Satisfied)

I had the Stagg EKG, and upgraded to the Stagg EKG Pro Studio because my mom was looking for an electric kettle. It certainly is an upgrade, very nice attention to detail and feels like a more sturdy iteration on the original. I have been using it for a little over a week now and it has been great!
The only reason this isn't 5 stars is because, while the guided mode is really nice, I would have liked to see the option to add a custom preset to the list, or a different menu item to have presets to pick from. This is very minor but for the price would be a nice touch! I would be very happy if this was included in a future software update?
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great kettle with very pleasing aesthetic.
Maple handle and stopper should be treated. Paying for a kettle of this quality should include a fully finished product.

Works well, but at this price point there are some aesthetic issues I find difficult to overlook.
Aesthetics:
For a product this expensive, which is obviously uses design/aesthetic as a selling point, I feel there’s some lack of care in the overall look of the item. The wood tone of the handle on the lid and the handle on the body is egregiously different. If you look at the product photos online very, very carefully, you can see that the sane cosmetic issue is present in the product photos, though it looks far more subtle. I’m not sure if what I got is just a coincidence of color variation, given how much more different it is from the photos, or a result of intentional misrepresentation.
Functionality:
I’ve thus far used the kettle with preboil and hold, and I set the altitude as well. I have not yet used the scheduling feature, but the dial and screen combo is simple and works well. The pout feels great and the stream of water is adequately smooth. Very satisfied with the actual function of the item.

missing bumper causing kettle to wobble

I bought this and it is missing a bumper on the bottom of the kettle. I submitted a request 10 days ago about this and still have yet to hear back.

Love the design but kettle top knob keeps coming unscrewed

I bought this about a month ago. I love the design but I would like it better if it was a little bit larger to hold more water for to make 3 cups of coffee and or tea. ALSO: the lid of the kettle where the knob screws in, from the very first day keeps coming loose to unscrew. Is this normal or a defect for this particular kettle?

Short power cord is a killer

I am sure quality is fine but it has the shortest power cord!! Cannot reach plug. Much shorter than their other products

Great except one major flaw

This kettle is feature-rich and has a lot of really neat capabilities. There's one issue that I can't seem to understand and it's three re-heating that happens after removing and replacing the kettle on the stand.
If you heat the water in your kettle to desired temp, you must manually shut the kettle off before putting the kettle back on. Otherwise it will attempt to reheat - even if the kettle is empty remove. I'm really concerned about forgetting to turn this off and the kettle burning up if it's empty.
