EKG Electric Kettle

This electric kettle is flawless in everyway. I read tons of reviews searching for an electric hot water kettle for my daily iced tea fix. Even the top rated kettles had numerous problems and I thought my search would never end. Thankfully, while reading the review of ANOTHER brand's kettle, the writer mentioned the Fellow EKG electric kettle. I had never heard of Fellow but went to their website and was thrilled to read all the positive reviews on the EKG. I ordered it immediately and have been smitten ever since it arrived. Two full pots fill my 3/4 gallon glass pitcher in which I make my ice tea, every 3 days or so. Not only does this kettle function like a dream, it looks devine on the counter too. As a professional interior designer, aestetics do matter to me. I have only 2 suggestions: 1 - It would be grand if the cord could store within the base and not 'show' when the pot isn't in use. 2 - Make a larger pot (maybe 1.5-2x the current size) that fits on the SAME size base as the small pot. I'd buy both sizes and be forever happy. Thank you Fellow for making this (and so many other) splendid products.

Love the design of the

Love the design of the pot. The walnut feels good in the hand and the balance is just right. I am a form follows function person and this ticks off all the right boxes. The spout works so well, giving a controlled pour. Heating is relatively quick and it does hold temp well. I do find that the PID controller overshoots when the pot is low. And, there is a learning curve to get the pot turned on and off. Just the right place has to be hit... Just a little finicky for my taste. But, I can liv with that.

Very pleased with this item and like the temperature controls. Also glad I didn’t go with the goose neck as it’s used mostly for teas and prefer the faster pouring.

Love this kettle but the power switch/button is temperamental and finicky. I should work when you press it but you have try several times and with several different touches to finally get the thing to turn on.
