Very efficient, compact, well balanced handle and spout. Easy to clean.
On-off switch often requires a number of presses before activated.
Never reaches 212 degrees ... when the kettle is sitting on the base 208/09 seems to be maximum temperature.

Beautiful, Comfortable, & Simplistic

Overall, one of the best - if not, the best - looking tea kettles on the market. The feel of the kettle, the aesthetic, the feel, all excellent. The temperature/power knob feels solid and sturdy. Why I was surprised about how flimsy the toggles for hold and C°/F° feel. Granted, you don’t touch or see them often so after initial setup I forget about that.
What I would love to see in the future are presets added. Perhaps 2-4 programmable buttons. I usually switch between 165° for Matcha and 212° for herbal teas and scrolling between those two numbers is a tad annoying.
Lastly, it’s expensive. Way above most on the market. If other manufacturers start making more visually appealing kettles then they will have some real competition.

The kettle is very cool looking. However, even when filled to the max line the kettle sputters and boils over.
I wrote customer care with my concern, was asked to send photos, serial and order numbers etc. which I did right away. It's now been one week since I wrote and have heard nothing back.

Overall great kettle

My husband and I have been using this kettle multiple times a day since we received it. Overall its great. It's quick to heat the water, holds several cups of water, and craftsmanship seems spot on. My only complaint is the power on/off (which is also the heat dial) is a little fussy about how to push it. It usually takes me several pushes to get the right angle to turn it off.

Good, have potential to be great

I like the aesthetics and functionality. One area of improvement is the cord, due to it's thickness and rigidity, it takes away from the clean look overall. It needs to be flexible so it can lay flat and not bunch up when shortened, as there is no other way to hide the excess cord.

I like almost everything about this kettle, except the sluggish switch. The on/off switch on the base requires 2 or 3 tries to respond. It feels like just the right touch is needed for it to connect. I'm hoping it won't eventually fail. I like the ease of dialing in the temperature for specific teas that like less than boiling water. The fact that it holds the temp when you replace the kettle on the base sort of makes up for the touchy switch :). It's also an attractive piece to look at on the counter at 5:00 AM.
