Mirror finish interior scratched

Lovely design - except when it arrived the interior bottom has scratches . Upon checking with Fellow, I was told they are normal part of production of mirror finish , which doesn’t sound right and is a bit disappointing.

I love the look of it, but it feels thin. After it reaches temperature, and you pour the water for one cup and put it back. It drops temperature by about 8° almost immediately. If you forget to shut it off and put it back on the base with no water in it it will continue for quite a long time before it realizes there’s no water and continually clicks, the clicks might be a good thing because then it will make you aware that there is no water in the pot. The lid does not stay on very tightly so when you tilt to pour water it falls out.
Lastly, the automatic shut off only works at the pot is on the base. If you decide to rinse the pot and let it sit upside down on a drain board to dry and forget to shut off the base, it will stay on all day long.

Great look but poor quality

Great look but poor quality and functionality. Metallic taste after several cycles persisted. Pot was hot and did not have an auto Rouen off making this a house hazard. Sad because it is so pretty.

This electric kettle is a precision dream! Not only is the design beautiful, but the temperature control is a very helpful feature. My water for my french press boils quickly and the kettle noise is not too loud. This kettle is a joy to use.

I love all my Fellow gear! It is stylish and very functional. I can set my exact brew temperature for my Coffee or Tea and set the timer on my kettle for a perfect brew!

This tea kettle is absolutely fantastic! Outstandingly stylish, but not the least bit ostentatious. A perfect complement to my kitchen’s butcher block countertops.
It feels and looks every bit the price it costs. And did I mention how it’s preset temperature heats the water to just the right temp for brewing black tea?
