Great little kettle! And so stylish.

I love love love my Corvo kettle. It definitely sparks joy in this reluctant consumer’s heart. After reading about 200 reviews of non-plastic electric kettles, I decided to splurge on this one. If it lasts (unlike all the others that interested me, which had various longevity issues), I will forever be enamored of it.
I deal with the small volume inconvenience by having a jar full of extra water standing by - once I’ve poured 1/2 - 3/4 of the boiling water into my Chemex, I add more into the kettle as it’s sitting on the heating element, and it only takes a minute or two for the water to get up to a boil.

I love my new Corvo but!

It's a lovely kettle, looks good, heats fast, maintains temperature, and comes with a chime to let you know when it's hot. The problem and so far the only problem is the chime can't be heard. OK, if I'm in the kitchen just quietly waiting for the water to heat I can hear it, but not if the water is running or I'm talking to someone and literally anything else that makes the slightest bit of noise. And the volume is adjustable and it's turned all the way to 10. Makes me wonder what the adjustment is for as any lower and you might as well turn it off. I've had it 3 months probably used it to heat water more than 50 times and only heard the chime about 5 times. Sad because the only reason I spent the money on the Pro was so I'd have the chime.

Almost perfect…

For tea snobs… I mean connoisseurs… such as I aspire to become, the Corvo is the perfect engine to run that show. It definitely takes the guesswork out of temperature.
For future incarnations, with even more convenience to the user, I would suggest/request having a timer one can set that counts down and beeps, rather than the current stopwatch that silently counts up from “0:00.” It’s easy to forget about and go over the target brew time if one is multi-tasking. Consequently, I end up using the timer with alarm on my phone.

Using this thing makes me so happy. It looks so good, it's so easy to use, and it pours so nicely. Every cup of coffee or tea that I make lately is just a little bit better because I smile whenever I use this kettle.

Would give 4.5 stars if possible - the only gripe is that the power cord is woefully short, which prevents me from using it safely at the office (as it’s not supposed to be plugged into an extension cord).

Love this kettle, not only does it look beautiful on my counter but is incredibly functional. Easy to set temp, lets me know when it’s reached my temperature and holds it there for me. What’s not to love?
