I'm very happy with my Corvo EKG Electric Kettle. I use it to make both coffee and tea so I love that the temperature can be easily selected and I just love the look of it.
Love the specific settings for different steep temperatures of types of tea. The temperature hold for an hour is also a great feature that I use every day. Love the look of this kettle!
Mostly love it, have been using ours for many years and recently purchased this one as a gift, prob the 4th or 5th one we've given away -- and it's the only model we've given away. It does what it does really well, the design fits for us, and people ask about it constantly. It heats water quickly, adjusts temp easily, everything about it just kinda works. A couple gripes: The lid is way too hard to get off and on. Over a long period of time, the interior discolors and can't tell if it's mineral deposits or mold, but very hard to clean. Reviews say it's a bit too small for the price. I agree. We still love the kettle, but it's pricey for a small volume of water. If we're careful, it's just barely enough for a couple medium cups of tea / coffee...but not for 2 big cups. It reheats quickly, but another 6oz or so would really be better for a 2-person household who use this almost every day.
Great kettle, but smaller than expected. We were replacing our large kettle and I neglected to read and find the volume difference which was disappointing.
Read all the previous reviews and you will not be disappointed in its few short comings. It would be nice if the cord would come out of the sides as well as the back for different counter setups. It would also be great if the grinders came in matching colors :)
The best thing for a quick cup of afternoon tea! Easy to use and quickly heats to the correct temperature for green, black and herbal teas. I was a little reluctant to purchase initially because of the price but so far it has been completely worth it! I’m impressed with how much better even my supermarket tea is! (I was just running hot water from my Keurig before it died). It is also nice looking and has a small footprint in the kitchen (wish I had spent slightly more money for the walnut handled pot). It pours easily with no splashing and produces less steam than expected (I am very careful with it and follow all of the safety directions because it does get hot). Highly recommend and I think it would also make a great gift.
