We've been wanting an immersion blender for some time, and after reading reviews for some other makes, decided to go with a trusted brand. We have had a countertop Vitamix blender for several years and couldn't be happier with its durability and power, but wanted the additional versatility offered by an immersion blender. It's great for making smoothies, hummus, sauces and small quantities or single servings of desserts.

I just got it and I've been busy using it for the last few days. It's a great addition to my Vitamix family of blenders. It's so handy for making cream soups and my famous Mashed Sweet Potato Casserole.
100 times better than old (other brand) No chunks!

I bought myself the immersion blender for Christmas and it has been amazing. So great that I recently purchased a second one for my daughter. She makes smoothies and cream soups for my one year old grandson. It churns up the ice cubes without a glitch and makes an incredibly smooth “smoothie”. Soups are awesome . No problems with hot or frozen products. I highly recommend.

Love it!! I use it for salad dressings, tomato sauce and salsa and especially smoothies and cocktails. Pull it out oif the drawer, snap it together and its ready. So much easier than hauling out the big Vitamix blender when doing smaller jobs. Super easy cleanup. I highly recommend!
This immersion blender is a well designed and solidly built appliance. It works as advertised. The ability to remove the blender section from the motor and power cord section is great for storage. Assembly/reassembly is simple and quick. The plastic guard for the blade assembly is excellent, especially for use in our enamelled cast-iron pots, where it protects the enamel from damage. The speed selection is good especially when blending in smaller containers, where high-speed would cause liquids to overflow the sides. This replaced our vintage (30+ years) Braun immersion blender which broke recently.
It's powerful and quiet and makes great smoothies - exactly what we wanted it for. We usually use frozen fruit and berries, not straight ice cubes. It's nice to have the variable speeds. A great buy.
I love my new Vitamix Immersion Blender. I bought it because my old immersion blender head was plastic, and I did not like to use it for blending hot soup. The Vitamix is metal with plastic tips (I assume they are fine with hot liquids), I have made pumpkin bisque soup a few times already, and the Vitamix is very powerful and blends very quickly and easily.
I did quite a bit of research before purchasing the Vitamix Immersion Blender and because of the high reviews and because I love the quality of my Vitamix Blender and Food Cycler, I chose to purchase this one. Most recently I have been making various versions of Baba Ganoush; I can't even begin to tell you how easy it is to blend the roasted vegetables and how smooth my concoctions are. This little machine is powerful; no cordless machine could ever compare.
