It means business and handles any job

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] An immersion blender is one of those must-haves in your kitchen. This blender in particular is set apart from other brands in that it handles whatever you throw at it. Just about all of the uses I need it for, only requires the 2nd power setting but it goes all of the way up to 5! I have used it to puree butternut squash soup, pumpkin pasta sauce, smaller batches of different smoothie flavors and even make whipped cream. The only consideration I would suggest before you buy this product is it's weight. Other brands I have tried are a fraction as heavy as this one and if you have arthritis, fibromyalgia or other conditions that make it difficult to grip or hold with strength, this product may not be the best choice for you at 2.86lbs.

LOVE this Immersion Blender!!!

I have had a few immersion blenders in the past and this one far exceeds all of them! The power it has is so great and it is easy to control in the pan without splashing the soup all over. The variable speed control option is amazing. It fits right in there with the quality of all the other Vitamix products. Easy to clean - can just run it in a jar of water with a drop of dish soap, or hand clean as well. I couldn’t wait to make my broccoli cheese soup when I got this in and it sure didn’t disappoint!!

Hello! The bell guard is made of a BPA free glass filed nylon that can withstand very high temperatures. It has been put in place to protect your pans that you may blend in, and to provide the proper flow of ingredients.

A lot of power in a small size!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As soon as this arrived, my kids begged for me to make milkshakes to "test" it out. The blades on this blender are long, the cord stays out of you way and that milkshake was made before I knew it! I can't wait to try this out on soups and my tomato sauce. Definitely a great choice!

Good Blender replacement for doing Smoothies
