I haven't taken my big Vitamix out of the cupboard since getting this. It handles soup, hummus, and green smoothies (with leafy greens, fruit, nuts, and seeds) well. It is super easy to clean, light weight (compared to the big Vitamix with container), and easy to store in a drawer. This is my new blender of choice.

Excellent Immersion Blender!

I have used many different Vitamix products over the years in my mother's kitchen, at work, and now in my own home! I purchased this immersion blender to replace a different brand that was just not up to par anymore. When I was first buying products for my kitchen I couldn't afford the Vitamix price tag--but after using them at work I realized they produce the golden standard of blenders, and knew I wanted to eventually replace my cheaper cooking tools with VitaMix products. This immersion blender is definitely more of an investment than the cheaper options out there, but it is well worth the price. If you take care of these products from Vitamix, you'll have them forever. With this immersion blender, you get all of the Vitamix power in a very compact little package. I have used this stick blender to make homemade mayonnaise numerous times, as well as to emulsify dressings, and to homogenize the consistency of certain soups. It is marvelous and I am very pleased with the power, and quality of this immersion blender.

I used a friend's Vitamix Immersion Blender, a couple of weeks ago, and loved it, so I purchased 2 for Christmas one for myself and another for my sister, we both own, and have used their blenders since we were in high school. in fact, I still have my first Vitamix,

Finally an immersion blender with power!

Very happy with this purchase! It is very solid feeling. Handled blending Thai sweet potato carrot soup easily - silky smooth. Especially liked the ease in increasing the power. Just wished it came with a whisk attachment. That’s the only negative I have.

I bought this immersion blender after looking at many other models and knew that vitamix was the only one that was going to the step up to all of my immersion blender needs. I can whip up a smoothie, stir up my protein powder, my collagen powder, turn cashews into a creamy sauce, and make the most incredible creamy vegan soups... right in the pot! With all the variable speeds and the ease of cleaning, this is the best immersion blender I’ve ever found. Next stop, the blender! I’m saving up for that each day!

I bought my Vitamix immersion blender in The beginning of January, and I love it. It makes live in the kitchen so much easier!
The only thing that I am disappointed in, is that it is made in China.
I own a Vitamix blender, and the reason for buying it was that it is made in the USA.
I assumed the same for the immersion blender.
I will definitely think again if I want to buy a vitamix product again.
