I’ve only used my new immersion blender a few times. It is much more quiet than my old Cuisinart, which I loved. It is a little bit heavier, not a problem, and it is much faster at liquifying my soups or smoothies. I think as I use it more, I will love it even more. Yes, you can buy an immersion blender for a lot less money but, this is so much more efficient, it’s worth the extra cost. I think it will outlast the others by many years.
This is our second Vitamix purchase. The immersion blender has worked wonderfully and we hope it will live up to the Vitamix quality like our blender which we have had for 12 years that is used daily.
An immersion blender is used fairly frequently by me. The old one was used several times, but apparently couldn't hake the job of mashing the bananas and other goodies that went into muffins. The Vitamin was AWESOME! It did the job so quickly and I love it. It may be a bit on the heavy side, but I don't have any issues with that. It has a good motor and that's what it's all about.
Pros: Texture Quality, Durability, Easy to use, Recipe Enhancement, Power
I've never owned a product that feels like the good part of an infomercial. One press of the button and the powerful motor turned our soup into the most elegant, creamy soup we've ever had. No weird little hunk of leftover veggie floating around. The construction of the blender is also excellent and high quality. I recommend!
