This thing is the bomb. I waited way too long to make this purchase. It is super powerful and easy to clean. I also got the small mixing bowl with blades that I attach the motor to and it works like a charm. If you are in the fence and balking at the price, let me tell you it is worth every penny!!!!
I 've had a feeding tube for & years this time (I'm 76 now) and a few years ago I started liquifying people food and went from 106 lbs to t25 lbs, saved my life and gave me some ordinary life back. Now with the immersion blender I purchased I blend up my mixture of protein liquids so I have some energy and nutrients easier and faster. INCREDIBLE BLENDERS. !!!!!! THANY YOU FOR MAKING MY LIFE EASIER AND MORE REGULAR. Rich

While it has only been a short while since purchasing (after time reviewing many) I am in awe of my Vitamix immersion blender. I made fresh jalapeño hot sauce smooth in under three minutes, blended soups to perfection, and for silky fresh dressings. Hubby used to make golden milk and was very happy with the short work it made of the drink. I just wish I would have made the purchase long ago.
I am absolutely over the moon with our new Vitamix Immersion Blender. It does all the things I need it to do - smoothies, salsa, soups, without so much as a hesitation. I'm sorry I ever wasted money on other brands before.

Love Vitamix; I've had the same Vitamix Pro Blender for 12 years and still use it 3x's a day. I've gifted several Vitamixes and they are still going strong! I thought the stick (immersion) blender would be the bomb but to be 100% honest, I'm a bit underwhelmed by it's performance. In no way do I expect it to perform like a blender but I have had several immersion blenders from KitchenAid in the last ten years. Notice I say several because they do tend to crack where the wand meets the motor housing, or the on/off gets funky. I can't say the Vitamix performs that much better but that being said, it does work and saves the hassle of transferring items to the blender. You will not get creamy, creamy textures with this and emulsions...probably not. I do like that the housing is plastic edged so it doesn't scrape pans or glass; that was a smart design decision. I have to power up to at least level 4 to get any kind of umph from this unit. Perhaps a lower settings would be ok for the appropriate situation. It's all subjective depending on how you cook and what the expectation is. Overall a quality appliance but not sure it's worth 2'xs what most immersion blenders cost, time will tell! Warranty is great.
I love this handheld blender. I’ve used it to purée soups and also whipped cream which takes seconds. I wasn’t sure that I’d like the placement of the speed controls after some of the reviews but it’s just fine for me. The speed control is nice when you want to leave a little texture to soups. I also like the weight balance.

Vitamix got it SO RIGHT on this one! Easy peasy to use and such a beautiful tool to have in my kitchen! I made delicious avocado mayo the first day that I got it. Couldn't believe how simple it was to use and the results were mighty tasty. Goodbye store bought mayo as I will be making my own from now on.
