love this blender BUT I'm picky about led lights

This is the third immersion blender I have owned. I use the appliance several times a day, and grew weary of wearing cheaper models out in a year or so. I trust this one will last a long time.
Like other reviewers have noted, it is heavy, but I feel that's a sign of solid mechanics. It is surprisingly quiet and has little vibration in the hand, also a sign of high quality bearings.
The one thing that irks me about this model is the illuminated light in the handle when it's plugged in. I use my blender so often that I like to leave it on a shelf ready to go, but I live off-grid in an RV and don't appreciate appliances that waste energy on lights when they're not in use. A minor complaint. I doubt it draws much power, but having to unplug the blender so I can sleep in total darkness is slightly annoying.

It’s very quiet compared to others that I’ve had. Easy to clean. It’s a little tough to get unit apart to clean but goes together very easy.

I used this at a friends house, we made whipped egg whites for waffles in under a minute. I would retire my old kitchenaid handblender for this model. Pureed soups would be a snap with this
