I love my immersion blender. We have used other brands before learning of vitamix and I had to replave one again so when my daughter shared her love for viramix, we voted to spend a little more and get something nicer that would last. We use the blender nearly everyday. I like that it feels worth the money. It is not cheaply made and you dont expect it to go flying out if your hand while using it. I like the variable speeds and easy cleaning process. Everyone in our home uses it and loves it. My only suggestion would be to make some type of cover for the blade end for storing it in a drawer. It does have the sides that come down more on the blade end...but i would still like to have a snap on cover. I currently own a different counter top blender but when it breaks....and they all do...we will spend the money and get the vitamix. I am convinced they will endure the use we put them to and i wont habe to keep purchasing new products every year or two. Thanks vitamix for making me a believer in purchasing good quality items to begin with.
