I love-love my new Vitamix immersion mixer! I use it to make thicker smoothies in the container I will be drinking from. This saves me the time of scooping out thicker mixtures at the bottom of my big Vitamix blender. I also routinely use it in soups that I make in pans on the stove. The mixer breaks down the soup to make it semi-creamy but still with some small chunks for texture.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This immersion blender is absolutely wonderful. So easy to hold and control. and easy to switch speeds. I used this to make some red sauce and took no time and evenly blends everything without splatter and messes. Very nice Blender.

This blender makes it unnecessary for me to purée soups in my Vitamix. I just blend it right in the pot. It’s great because it doesn’t put too much air in it. Easy to clean. Love it!
