[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am using this Immersion Blender by Vitamix to make soap, and it is amazing. The quality is great, it is heavy duty while still feeling light, and it mixes soap 100 times better than my older off-brand hand blender did. I know that if this were also used in the kitchen, it would do an amazing job there as well!

This is a solid immersion blender that is well designed and worthy of the Vitamix name. After many years of Vitamix blender use, we have become used to the quality and dependability it has provided. This “stick blender” does not disappoint and has quickly become a “go to” tool in our kitchen, replacing several previous hand blenders that just couldn’t do the job. Yes, this Vitamix is a little bit heavier and, yes, it costs a little more but the fit, feel and ergonomics that have gone into the quality design make it well worth the upgrade. Easy to assemble, disassemble and clean. The one handed operation is easy to use while watching the power level indicator light built built into the handle.

I purchased this Vitamix immersion blender and have only had it a short while. However, I have already discovered that this thing is much better than many of the other brands out there. This thing has the power to take care of business when blending all types of foods. This includes easy things such as whipping cream, but also blending soups as well as ice in smoothies and I haven't even discovered what all else yet. It will cover my needs and more for years to come. I would recommend this purchase to anyone, especially at the price that it is being sold at.

Must hold ON button to work the entire time

I bought the 5 speed immersion blender. Mixes well, but it very heavy, and you have to hold the power button on. This would feel worth the money if the power button stayed On.
I did it for 5 minutes snd my arm and hand hurts and feel exhausted.
