I just got my Vitamix immersion blender. It was easy to put this blender into the soup pot and push the button instead of pouring it into a standard blender. I was so impressed at how quickly I got a beautiful creamy soup.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Vitamix Immersion blender is a high quality must have for every kitchen. This blender is stainless steel (pretty) and super powerful. I love the sleek professional look and quality. I am impressed by how compact and easy it is to clean. This immersion blender can compete with all the tough jobs of a large blender, but it is compact and easy to clean. That is a bonus for everyone- right? This is my new go to when making smoothies and it is so much easier than getting out my big blender. It comes with a booklet of tips when blending in a crock pot, smoothie jar, etc. It comes well packaged and is easy to assemble (2 parts) for easy storage. I’m really happy with this blender and plan to use it for years to come.
I was so excited to replace my Braun immersion blender with a Vitamix but after a couple weeks I’m going back to the Braun. I mostly use an immersion blender to blend sauces in a pan. With the Braun, as long as there’s 3/4” of sauce it blends great with no splattering. With the Vitamix, even with a few inches of sauce it makes a huge mess all over the stove. The blending bell has a bad design for that application — blade is too high and not enough side vents. It probably works well if you pour the sauce into a blending beaker but at that point you may as well use a regular blender.

Gritty smoothies; struggled w/cooked cauliflower
on December 12, 2021
Posted by: Cook in MI
Frozen strawberry smoothies with a few cashews and roughly a tablespoon of chia seed with PLENTY of soymilk came out gritty (3x). Also struggle to blend a cooked mix of cauliflower, a few buckwheat grains and cashews in water - all cooked together until soft.
Pros: Easy to use

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This immersion blender is a bit of a splurge but works great. It's way more heavy duty than I expected it to be. I like that the speeds increase with a touch of a button and the visualization of the speeds with the lights. Easy to use and easy to clean up.
Pros: Durability, Easy to use, Versatility, Power
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great Immersion Blender with a few caveats

Having had several Vitamix Blenders, I assumed that this immersion blender would be top quality and I was not disappointed. It feels and works like a top line unit. The balance is a little wonky, but not horrifically so. Also, this thing needs a stand that can either sit on the counter or hang on the wall. That would make things a lot more convenient than trying to keep it stashed in a drawer or cupboard. Are you listening out there? How about some accessories that can make this great product totally awesome. A wisk attachment would also be quite handy when whipping up a little whipped cream or meringue. be

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you want an immersion blender that’s like a professional one, this is the one to buy. So powerful it gets the job done quickly. Has 4 blades and separates easily for storage. Has a 5 foot heavy duty cord so you can easily use it while pot on stove. I was shocked at how quiet it is too! It is a little heavier than I expected , but fits my hand well, and blends so quickly it’s not an issue for me (I’m a woman in my 60’s). Has 5 speeds and on off button that’s easily accessible while using. Excellent product!
Pros: Speed of Service, Texture Quality, Durability, Easy to use, Versatility, Product features, Power

Super strength immersion blender!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been holding off on getting an immersion blender because I have a handheld mixer, a smoothie blender, a food processor and a regular blender. Boy am I sad I waited so long to get this immersion blender. It’s awesome! Super easy to use. Nice and solid which is helpful when holding and blending - not too lightweight that it moves easily. The width is the perfect grip to hold onto with either hand. The bell guard on the bottom protects my pots which is a necessity with my induction stovetop cookware. There are five speeds which completely blend everything in seconds. It helped to save lots of time with my soups, desserts, drinks and homemade master tonics. All I do at the end is twist it apart and wash the top. It’s worth the money! I should have gotten one sooner.
