Don't purchase. Look elsewhere

2 trips.. Twice the zipper has come apart.. Glad had my clothes in the compression straps. The zipper on this luggage is trash. I previously purchased a 3 piece set of off brand luggage that was much cheaper and more durable. Lasted years. Decided to spend a more money on a bigger name brand.. Big mistake. The return and repair process is complicated and expensive. They designed it that way to discourage getting luggage repaired.

Faulty zippers.

This is a beautiful suitcase and the outside material is elegant. Unfortunately the zippers broke on 2 of our suitcases on our first trip using them. The first time it broke during a flight and the airline had to put it in a plastic bag. The second time we had to get it saran wrapped at the airport because we were afraid that it was going to open during transportation again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I have bought less expensive brands and they get damaged quickly and more expensive that are actually at par with Samsonite, they are not worth the extra cost. Samsonite offers the right value for the price.

Very Disappointed Terrible Zippers

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am completely disappointed in the quality of this luggage. I purchased both the medium check in and the carry on. BOTH zippers were faulty. Both luggages were underweight and properly packed. The check-in zipper popped right before my flight, I had to buy a luggage belt to help keep my belongings secure & just hoped during my flight that my belongings would arrive intact. The carry-on zipper popped open when I was already at my destination. Now I have to order a luggage belt for my carry-on, an absolute joke.
For the amount of money and weight the Samsonite name carries I expected better. And now, I am not back state-side until the end of August and am unsure how to get this fixed, reimbursed.
Included the picture of the faulty carry-on zipper.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Beautiful Design, but Scratched and Dinged on Firs

I love the look of this carry-on — it’s sleek, stylish, and makes a great first impression. It rolls smoothly and feels lightweight, which made airport navigation easy. That said, I was disappointed that it got scratched and dinged after just one use. I expected it to be a bit more durable, especially for the price and quality it seems to promise.
If aesthetics are your top priority, it’s a winner. But if you're looking for something that can take a beating right out of the gate, you might want to keep looking.
