Great disc player

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this recently,This is my first blu-ray player,So I was excitedThis,Blu-Ray player has great picture and sound quality in a compact size.We hooked it up in our bedroom and so far have watched 2 movies,F9 and another.Works great.I love Sony products.Love this little player!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sony is always amazing! I love how high tech their products are without being hard to use. This Blu-ray player is perfect for those who want to play disks from other regions as it’s region free needed a little help from tech at first but I got it here are the instructions below. But I also wanted to mention the sleek and stylish design of the player and remote is nice. Fits well in my tv console. And I’m super happy with it! Was able to borrow a few disks from the library for my son and I and we had fun. All we need now is a new Sony tv! Haha
Pressing the Yellow, Blue, or Red buttons while the player is turned off does..... drum roll..... NOTHING! (except make you mad when it doesn't work).

Here is how I got mine to switch regions- to ensure I got this correct I swapped back and forth between several different discs coded for different regions- back and forth.
1) Figure out which region you need as follows...
Yellow for Region A: This region covers all of North America, South America, and Southeast Asia.
Blue for Region B: This encompasses Europe, Africa, Middle East, French territories, and Greenland.
Red for Region C: Region which covers the rest of the world including Russia, Asia, and China.
Blue for Region B: This encompasses Europe, Africa, Middle East, French territories, and Greenland.
Red for Region C: Region which covers the rest of the world including Russia, Asia, and China.
2) Turn on Blu-ray player (menu for the player and/or streaming apps comes on TV screen).
3) Eject the tray.
4) Stick Blu-ray in the tray and DO NOT close the tray (IMPORTANT- DO NOT CLOSE THE TRAY!)
5) Press the colored button for the Region required to play the Blu-ray disc- WHILE THE TRAY IS OPEN and the Blu-ray player is turned on.
6) NOW close the tray.
7) Movie will play for the newly assigned region.
8) Eject the movie when done watching.

9) After watching a movie coded for another region, you probably want to revert back to Region A (assuming you're in the U.S.).
10) Open tray and insert a Region A (U.S.) Blu-ray and LEAVE THE TRAY OPEN!!!!
11) Press the YELLOW key for Region A (U.S.)- WHILE THE TRAY IS STILL OPEN!!!
12) Close the tray. Region A (U.S.) will play. You're now set back to where most of your Blu-rays play.
13) Eject Blu-ray.
14) Turn off the Blu-ray player and TV.
10) Open tray and insert a Region A (U.S.) Blu-ray and LEAVE THE TRAY OPEN!!!!
11) Press the YELLOW key for Region A (U.S.)- WHILE THE TRAY IS STILL OPEN!!!
12) Close the tray. Region A (U.S.) will play. You're now set back to where most of your Blu-rays play.
13) Eject Blu-ray.
14) Turn off the Blu-ray player and TV.

Quality blue-ray disk player

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really like how well made this Sony Blu-ray Disc/DVD player is and that you can instantly stream movies or tv shows. It has full HD picture quality that makes watching any movie or show nice and clear. It also has the ability to connect with the HDMI cable, it has the USB input and a Coaxial for output. With this player, you will want the Wired Ethernet connection and it comes with simple instructions for set up. It is very
nicely made with a sleek design that does not take up much space. This Sony Blu-ray Disc/DVD player starts quickly and loads disks fast so you don't have to wait forever which is nice because my children get impatient if it takes a long time to load. The remote control has Netflix on it and you can even watch youtube just by using the remote control so we can find something for our whole family to enjoy together. I would recommend trying this Blu-Ray/DVD Player if you are looking for a new one and I think it is a quality product.

Great Features

Very easy to use, durable, and the picture quality is great. My favorite part is that I can steam on it as well. One of my other favorite things about it is that my 7yr old can work it too.

The player is compact, and packs all the right features for my needs. I use it for outdoor movie nights, both Blu-Ray discs and streaming. I like the offline ability mostly, so I can be portable with movie nights - its just wonderful!
