[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This little gem not only plays DVD's but It is wired for internet connection. and you can stream Netflix and youtube through this. This is perfect if you don't have a smart TV.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm so happy with my purchase and it's definitely worth every penny, I can watch DVDs and Blu-ray movies, stream YouTube, Netflix , Hulu or any other streaming service. I can do it all with one device even on TVs that aren't smart and that's awesome.

Great Quality Blu-Ray Disc Player

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the Sony Blu-Ray Disc Player a couple weeks ago. It works great with no issues. Plus it doesn't take up much space at all. My only two disappointments were it didn't come with any of the cables to hook it up. you can't hook this player up for wireless. I had to go out and buy all cables to hook everything up. But when all said and done great some disc player.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Excellent standalone Blu-ray player

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We haven’t completely abandoned DVDs and Blu-ray disks so we still need a Blu-ray player to play years of collected classics. This player has been perfect. Sony invented the Blu-ray and has always been known for top notch quality. With the exception of wireless (which we don’t need), it has every feature you could ever want. It really is the perfect player and at a very reasonable price.

Works very well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a basic Blu-ray disc player. It is capable of streaming, but needs to be connected to the internet by ethernet cable. It is not wireless. That is absolutely fine with me, that's exactly what I wanted. I have a ton of other devices that I can stream wirelessly through. I just needed a basic Blu-ray/DVD player and this one was an excellent choice. I have a bunch of older DVDs, like from the early aughts, when DVDs were still a new thing, and they look great on this Blu-ray player. The upscaling definitely helps. It's easy to set up, easy to use, has a remote, and looks nice on my TV stand. It's a solid Blu-ray disc player.

Big Features in a Small Package

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This blue-ray player is 1/3 the size of our previous unit which was only seven years old. Technology has come so far.
The DVD starts very quickly and runs smoothly. With high-definition video, wonderful clear images, and great audio quality, this is an inexpensive unit that takes up very little room.
You can never go wrong with a Sony product and this one is no exception.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Sony Blu Ray disc player and I’m not absolutely thrilled with it. I thought it was WiFi compatible but it’s not. You have to have an Ethernet cable in order to stream with it. Unfortunately my router is in my office and it’s to far away for that. It does have a good picture and I can still use it for my DVD player so I’m good with that. I would recommend it however, I think it should be made clearer that it’s not WiFi compatible.

Just what I needed

The blu ray play has great picture quality and has never failed us. We also love how light weight and compact it is. It’s also easy to setup.
