Easy Setup!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Sony Blu-ray Disc player is excellent for anyone who enjoys streaming and physical media such as Blu-ray Disc. Please keep in mind that the player does not come a HDMI cable so you will need one, which I happened to have around the house. Also, the it needs to be hardwired to your modem for streaming. I did not mind it since my modem is located in my TV stand. But, I use this mostly to watch the physical copies of movies and I do not have any complaints. It is easy to setup and plays the movies without issue. Would recommend for anyone looking for a disc player to watch on media on TV or a projector.

Compact size - Giant quality

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If you have an older television, lacking the ability to access the various streaming services, this is the perfect bridge to a "smart" tv. Other than the Ethernet cable (not included, but required to stream), this is everything you need. In addition, the device allows you to play blu-ray discs, dvd's and cd's with fine resolution and impressive picture quality. Comes with a full function remote (including the batteries) and a user friendly owner's guide.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this without completely checking it out. I had planned on upgrading an older unit we have. The good: It's a Sony, I believe that I always can trust Sony products. Easy to hook up and easy to use. Played every disc that I tried. I love the option of preloaded streaming apps..
The bad: I had hoped that by now ALL electronic devices would be Bluetooth and wireless wifi compatible. How much would it really add to the cost. I also realize that not everyone has wireless, but not everyone has wired LAN cable throughout their house either.

Just what I was looking for

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have a non smart tv in my bonus room. We have one Blue Ray player in the house and it was a pain to move it from room to room. I got this player for the internet ability and blue ray playback. Set up was easy and on screen instructions were simple to follow. The size is average for a Blue Ray player. It does not take up a lot room. Having the Netflix/Youtube apps is such a treat since the tv did not have it. The player does not have a noisy motor and is quiet. The remote works well and the buttons are labeled well.
