new way of watching movies with Triluminos tech

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love my blu-ray disc player BDP-S1700 it's well designed and innovative and with Triluminos color helps the set deliver a superior picture with truer and richer colors.The Sony blu- ray disc player is very easy to set up comes with instructions that are easy to follow, in an instant you can watch and stream all of your favorite tv shows and movies works well with any DVD and Blu -ray discs with no freezing loads fast and holds up very well the tiny remote is great too works flawlessly. It's a good quality small Blu-ray player that weighs nothing and takes little space I love my little Blu-ray disc player it's from Sony and you can't go wrong.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great and straightforward DVD and Blu-ray player. The picture quality is great and if you want to be able to enjoy your movies then this is a great option. I don’t think you can go wrong with Sony - they are always the highest quality. The name speaks for itself!
But, I feel like I need to point this out - A couple things that stood out to me were that there was no HDMI cable included and the only internet option is a direct connection with an Ethernet cable. Not having any WiFi or an HDMI cable kinda was like rain on my parade. Besides that, this is an awesome player to own.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have owned several blu-ray players and have found the BDPS1700 to be above average. A quickstart is something I have always come to appreciate in blu-ray players and this one is fairly quick. Installation was quick and easy and the picture quality is on par the other top blu-ray players on the market. We have a smart tv so are not able to take advantage of some of the streaming options, but this would be fantastic if you didn’t own a smart tv. There are some bulky aspects like the remote and power-pack, but I can hide the power pack in my console and I programmed the player to our universal remote, so no issues there!
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Blu Ray DVD player is just the right size for use in our camper. It was easily installed, takes little space. Some camp sites have no or very weak WIFI, so you can't count on it when you arrive. It is nice to take movies along and watch before going to bed. Quality of picture and sound is great!

Great basic blueray

I have a much larger one in my living room so this compact size was perfect for their room. The price was great for something that could potentially be ruined. As an added bonus now the boys can watch Netflix in their room as well. They had no problem figuring out how to work it which is nice too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The price this Blu-Ray DVD is a really good deal! Switching between scenes was incredibly fast and seamless. The apps that are installed worked fast without stuttering or freezing. So far I am very happy with the Sony Blu-ray Disc Player.

Along with the flexibility of both DVD and blue ray, this player also offers access to Netflix. The player is compact and doesn't take up much room. Its easy to hook up to any video system, which allows one to set it up and play within minutes. Picture quality is superb!!
