The streaming features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Sony Blu-ray by Sony is High definition and clear and the streaming on here is pretty fast it seems like it made my streaming a little quicker and the Blu-Ray movies are crystal clear to watch and I do play my CDs on this Blue-Ray and the music sounds crisp and clear also I would recommend this product to my friends and family for sure

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I thought this was just a normal Blu ray player, but it's not. You actually can hook up the internet through a wired connection, and play Netflix on it! There's a button on the remote just for Netflix as well.

The setup consisted of a few minutes of following simple prompts to set the language and to skip setting up the internet connection.
I'm using this just as a blu-ray/dvd player and not taking advantage of any streaming features, but it is nice to know they're there if I ever want to use them.

I love that this has no clock and that the front panel only has a power and an eject button. Beautiful simplicity. Sure, it makes life a little more traumatic if you lose the remote, but that is what universal remotes are for.
The remote control follows a design Sony has been using for a decade or more and it is also quite simple, which is exactly what I was after.

If you just want a blu-ray/dvd player without all the frills and buttons and settings and gizmos... this is a pretty great unit
