Easy to set up

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Sony Blu-ray disc player with streaming capabilities was easy to set up and use. It's lightweight and small - measures approximately 7 1/2 x 9 inches so it takes up very little space, which is nice. It has a great picture and sound. However, I was extremely disappointed once I went to set it up and realized that it requires a HDMI cable which is not included. There are pictures on the side of the box, one which shows an ethernet cable and states that it is not included but the only place you will see that the HDMI cable is required and sold separately is in a paragraph in small writing. (See picture) I'm sure I'm not the only person that did not notice this until later.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This Blu-ray is perfect I love it it has more than one thing to use on it you can use it to watch Blu-ray movies or anything Blu-ray and that’s not all it also has the options to use Netflix and YouTube on there so it’s a multi-use Blu-ray player I would recommend this to all the people who like or are interested in having more than just Blu-ray on a Blu-ray player

Great blue ray player

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got the Sony - Blu-ray Disc™ Player about a month ago and I am so glad I did. It was very easy to install. We have watched a few dvds on it and it plays great. Really easy set up and easy to use. I love that it can connect to the internet and stream Netflix.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Sony has always been a trusted brand so of course I had to get the Sony Blu-ray player. I love that it also plays dvd unlike some other Blu-ray players. It was super easy to hook up and get working and the quality is great, just as expected!

I just bought these two Blue-ray players from two different outlets. The Model S-1700 is nice, compact and very easy to plug and play and does a great job upgrading all DVD and BD however it does not have built in Wi-Fi which I really needed here.
The model BDP S-6700 is terrific in all functions including a very good Wi-Fi connection.
The un-needed model S-1700 will be gifted to a friend and I am very happy overall with all of my Sony TV and peripherals. I think the prices of these two BD Players were very convenient for me too.
