While busily prepping for breakfast guests, I would plug in my coffee maker at the perfect time. I then would proceed to continue with food prep. Smelling the freshly brewed coffee I would glance over, only to see coffee running across my counter and grounds being deposited in the pot! Disaster in process. The pot was not seated perfectly to allow coffee to drip and grounds to not overflow. Cleaning that mess one too many times, it was time for a new coffee maker.
I was gifted a new Cuisinart! My guests assured me those disasters would now be over, and they have been. I am so thankful for the gift and the positive and reassuring recommendations.

Coffee maker great. Carafe sucks! Carafe is cheaply made and different than previous models. Leaks while pouring as lid doesn't secure tightly.
