Thank you for your review of the MEATER Pro Duo. If it keeps dropping connection, it is most likely a range issue. The Probe has a range of 33 feet/10m in open air (line of sight). To maximize the range, the charger must be within 100ft/30m of the nearest Wi-Fi access point, and no further than 3 ft/1 m from the probe. Watch the included video to learn about range expectations. I bought the Meater Pro Duo during the Black Friday sale. Initially, there was an error in shipping where I was delivered "face wash pads" in lieu of probes themselves. The resolution center took over an hour on a call to resolve the shipping error, but I did eventually get the probes delivered. The probes are fantastic. I love how much guesswork they remove from the smoking process. They are accurate and convenient. I'd give a 5* review, but due to the shipping error I had to buy an alternate thermometer to use while smoking my Thanksgiving turkey.

I upgraded from the Meater Plus to this Pro Duo and it's an absolute game changer! Moving from my 7 year old Bluetooth AAA powered device to the built-in Wifi and USB powered device creates a much better experience. After a few cooks, the new sensors clearly make a difference.

I cooked a TBone Steak had really good color. Temp of oven showed on phone temp internal meat showed as well. Tried to adjust temp for internal and could not. Set it to 135 wanted 145 after looking at color of meat. I also tried to flash cook on broil but pulled the probes first thus ending cook.
