48oz Porterhouse Steak meets MEATER DUO

WOW! The MEATER DUO works absolutely phenomenal. When you purchase a 48oz Porterhouse Steak from one of the best butcher shops in the country (Whitefeather Meats aka The Bearded Butchers) you want to absolutely nail the cooking process. The MEATER DUO definitely helped me to achieve that goal. I did the Reverse-Sear Process on my Traeger Woodridge Pro and used both MEATER DUO probes. The first probe was used in the strip side of the porterhouse and the second probe was used in the filet side of the porterhouse. I wanted the monster steak to be rare and the MEATER DUO absolutely nailed it for me. This was by far the best steak I have ever made and have ever eaten. Far better than any high end steakhouse. If you’ve been debating whether or not to purchase a MEATER Wireless Thermometer, put any fears that you may have aside and purchase one, you will not regret it I can promise you that. BOOM!!!!

The probes I've been looking for my whole life

Worked flawlessly for turkey. But..I do not understand the lights on the block. When I plug it in it blinks red all the time. It does not stop. I would expect it to go solid non blinking once charged and ready. Confusing. When I remove the probe(s) it goes green as expected, so only perplexed by charging setup. And although the app is great, it could be improved to be more intuitive. Took me hours to figure out how to remove a probe from the app. I also had an issue where the app locked in on a final cook temp of 133 degrees (for turkey) which made no sense. Had to start cook over. But overall I've had great results.

I upgraded from the Meater Plus to this Pro Duo and it's an absolute game changer! Moving from my 7 year old Bluetooth AAA powered device to the built-in Wifi and USB powered device creates a much better experience. After a few cooks, the new sensors clearly make a difference.

I bought the duo a month ago and have not been able to use it. Unfortunately I did not know it required Wifi before I purchased it. I am camping at a Florida State park and do not have wifi, which the duo requires. I was offered a refund, but decided to keep it for home use, about 6 months a year.

Fantastic product, poor shipping/order fulfillment

I bought the Meater Pro Duo during the Black Friday sale. Initially, there was an error in shipping where I was delivered "face wash pads" in lieu of probes themselves. The resolution center took over an hour on a call to resolve the shipping error, but I did eventually get the probes delivered. The probes are fantastic. I love how much guesswork they remove from the smoking process. They are accurate and convenient. I'd give a 5* review, but due to the shipping error I had to buy an alternate thermometer to use while smoking my Thanksgiving turkey.

This is also the perfect product for this who can't afford or don't need a 3rd or 4th thermometer, this is the perfect solution for you.
