I bought it before Thanksgiving to use for the turkey. It took hours to connect it for a firmware update. I eventually had to use my phone as a hotspot to get it to update, which was annoying. Then on cook day, one of the probes would disconnect if I didn't hold the base right up against the oven. I did get good readings on them, and I was able to make better cooking decisions with the readings I got, but it was not user friendly trying to maintain a connection.

How stupid is it to sell a wireless probe that requires a separate app from the Traeger app when many Traeger grills can use wireless probes? I can tell you I bought this and was very unhappy with it. Why would I ever want to use two apps to smoke one piece of meat?
