Best purchase ever! Made some delicious pork shoulder on my smoker using the MEATER and it turned out perfect. Easy to use and clean. Going Wi-Fi is a game changer.
I really like the Pro Duo when it is connected. I have had a persistent issue with losing connectivity. My probes actually connected to my neighbor's phone during my Thanksgiving cook. I couldn't figure it out. not great timing.

While there can be different factors that may affect the range, these are typically limited to fairly straight forward causes, such as a low probe charge, cooking appliances with very thick walls and doors, or even possibly an issue with the network. But having Pro Duo probes connect directly to a phone is unusual and something that we would like to look into further. As great as the Meater Pro was, I gave it to my son, and ordered the “duo”! Now, I can put one in my steak, and one in my wife’s!! Or, turkey breast AND leg!
I thought there was nothing that would top my Meater Block or my Meater Plus, and then I added the Meater 2 Plus and the Meater Pro Duo to my collection of Meater products…AMAZING!!! I love the high temp cap, the four sensor benefit, and the WiFi features!!! …what more can you do to improve the most exceptional product on the market!!!…I’m just sad I didn’t wait for the ‘Black Friday’ special…I would have gifted the Meater bonus for Christmas and started someone else on the Meater journey!!!❤️😂❤️
Used once….. numerous connection problems. Going to try one more cook before final decision

Hello, and thanks for your review of the MEATER Pro Duo. If the Duo was previously paired, then there are only a limited number of possibilities as to why it is not connecting now. A lot of times, this can be attributed the charger not having power, which can easily be determined by simply taking one of the probes out of its slot and seeing if the corresponding LED lights up green for 3 seconds. If so, the charger has power, if not, then it could be that it simply needs to be charged. However, if plugging it in for 15-30 minutes does not resolve this, or if it is still not working with a charge, then please visit support.meater.com/contact-us and reach out to MEATER Customer Service for assistance.
Love the new sleeker probes and the enhanced view and temperature accuracy blows the old versions out of the water. A must for all your cookings needs!
