Great Product, not perfect only Jesus is!

Bought my Heater Pro Duo after repeatedly purchasing wire probes that failed. Worked great right out of the box. Then after several cooks they wouldn't connect and I got frustrated with them. However after doing a reset with a Firmware update they have since had no issues. Thankful that they do work really well and that I purchased the Wi-Fi version. As I often cook things low & slow and do things were I'm a good distance from the cooker. Thank you Meater!

Good day, Jeffy. Thanks for sharing this, we are glad lad to hear your MEATER Pro Duoworked great right out of the box and that after a reset and firmware update, it’s been running reliably again.

It’s great that the WiFi features are paying off for those long, low-and-slow cooks, so you can keep an eye on things even when you’re away from the cooker.

Thanks for choosing MEATER, and for sticking with it. If you ever need a hand down the road, MEATER Support is at 1-888-407-0303 for personalized assistance.

Wireless doesn’t work

I have three of these. I originally bought the duo and the third was a gift. They don’t work. I can stand right outside my oven or grill and it will not stay connected. Starts out fine. Within minutes it disconnects and never reconnects.

Good day, Brad. It seems like the connectivity drops you’re experiencing may be related to signal interference or the limits of Bluetooth/Wi-Fi range. Even when close to the oven or grill, factors such as metal surfaces, walls, or other wireless devices can disrupt the connection. Another possibility is that multiple units operating in the same area could be causing overlapping signals, which can make it harder for the app to maintain a stable link.

A few steps that often help include ensuring each device has a direct line of sight to your phone or tablet, moving other wireless devices away during use, and restarting the units before pairing to reset their connections. Keeping the app updated and checking that your phone’s Bluetooth or Wi-Fi settings are optimized can also improve reliability.

For personalized guidance or further adjustments to your setup, our support team is available at support.meater.com. They can help ensure your devices maintain a strong, consistent connection so you can focus on cooking without interruptions.
