The MEATER Pro Duo has become one of my go-to grilling tools. The dual sensors, strong Bluetooth range, and super clean app make tracking internal and ambient temps incredibly easy. It connects reliably, is very accurate, and takes all the guesswork out of grilling, especially with thicker cuts. Battery life is great and overall it feels like a premium, well-designed tool. If you grill often, this one’s worth it.
I used our new MEATER on a smoked Thanksgiving turkey. The turkey came out perfectly cooked. Using Wi-Fi instead of Bluetooth for the probes, and having multiple sensors with the MEATER choosing the sensor with the lowest temperature is a game changer. No longer do I need to put the probe in exactly the right place in the turkey. If you have an older MEATER, I would highly recommend upgrading to the newer models.
The very best gift I've ever given my husband. I took a leap of faith on this product about 5 years ago and bought the single MEATER. He was so impressed & thanked me every time he used it. It finally died after 5 years of daily use so I upgraded him to the Pro Duo since it has a longer range. I also bought one for our son since he was very envious of his dad's. Can't wait to give our son his for Christmas. Great product

Don’t waste your money

I thought that Meatr would be great, however what a waste of money. The 2 probe unit - one probe will work whilst the other won’t. It is not worth the money I paid. Considering I smoke meat and cook on BBQ 3 times a week my trusty wired inboard is better than this rubbish!

Moanie, when one probe works and the other consistently won’t, especially with how often you cook, that points to a specific issue with the non-responsive probe rather than the whole system. It’s worth checking that the stainless-steel body and black ceramic band are fully clean and that the probe seats firmly in the charger, since residue or weak contact can keep it from waking or charging. Still, if one probe has never performed reliably, we should run a quick diagnostic with you to confirm whether it’s a hardware fault and get it replaced if needed. Finally! I can basically cook it and not worry about the temp. Hooks up yo iphone via wifi and am set. Made prime rib last night, and came out just like we like it! Great Ptoduct!

Have used this for several different smokes and the meats always come out perfect. The probes on the smoker are inconsistent but the meater is always spot on. This is the best grilling/smoker accessory you can buy

Bought my Heater Pro Duo after repeatedly purchasing wire probes that failed. Worked great right out of the box. Then after several cooks they wouldn't connect and I got frustrated with them. However after doing a reset with a Firmware update they have since had no issues. Thankful that they do work really well and that I purchased the Wi-Fi version. As I often cook things low & slow and do things were I'm a good distance from the cooker. Thank you Meater!
