I have had every MEATER that has come out except the block. They were ok until they started having issues. I about gave up on the brand. I learned that the Duo was WiFi and that is awesome. No more dropping signal. The probes are within a half of degree usually. Of course it depends on where they are in the meat in the smoker. But overall, these are a keeper. I like the charging capability and the probes are labeled 1 and 2. Best product they have to date.

WiFi setup depends on having a solid Bluetooth link between your mobile device and the Block, and we’ve seen that keeping the Block plugged in can help with stable communication from a cold start.

We have use them 3 times since we got them. once in Steak, once in pork and once in a turkey.
Every time we followed the meater recommendations for pulling the food and letting it rest and every time the Temperature of the meat was right to our desired temp. Also the ambient temperature capability lets us not worry about the external temperature hurting the meater units.
