Move to the 2-probe Duo - my new go-to!

Long time MEATER (and ChefIQ) owner. I was waiting for the 2 probe offering for a while, ever since the new technology launched last year. I had purchased a ChefIQ 2 probe earlier this year and it's been disappointing. Since I tried the Duo, I can honestly say it sets the bar high. Connectivity was great (thank you wifi) and the end result was second to none! I think this is my new go-to, as my family likes their steaks done at different temperatures.

Flawless setup. Easy to use app. Perfect for long and short cooks. Meater probes were super accurate when checked with instant read thermometer.

Seems to work but left LED flashes constantly and can’t find any info on whether this is normal. It doesn’t seem like the pro duo is ready for prime time.

Thank you for your review of the MEATER Pro Duo. There are 2 LEDs, and they each correspond to one of the probes. The left LED will also blink red slowly while plugged in to let you know it's charging. The new WiFi feature is a plus! Hasn’t let me down yet. I bought theses for the egg. Cause my pallet smoker had built in ones. Seem to be accurate with them.

Love the Meater Pro.
Haven't used the duo yet...but hams and large meats are coming soon.
I have used the solo Meater Pro and absolutely love it.
One of the solo probes went a little whacky....but the convenience and the calibration are spot on....I will never be without one.of these.

Disappointed

Very disappointed. The duo set up effortlessly out of the box and I was excited to put it to work on my thanksgiving turkey. But, I had continuous connection problems and ended up not being able to use it at all. Most of the time I got “move closer to probe” error message, a couple of stretches where it “lost connection to meater cloud”

Hi, and thank you for reviewing the MEATER Pro Duo. The range between the probe and the charger can be affected by a few different factors, but they are typically easy enough to address. These tend to be related to the type of cooking appliance being used, the food being wrapped in foil or cooked inside of a metal pot, and obstructions between the probe and the charger. You can find online assistance for resolving most connection concerns at the below link for the MEATER Support Wizard that will provide step-by-step help depending on the details of your situation. Plus, if a correction cannot be achieved through the Wizard, there is also more direct contact information at the end that will get you in touch with our Customer Service team.
