My wife abhors the sight of blood on her plate, and my mouth waters at the sight of it. But the Meater Pro Duo solves that mismatch with 2 probes, so that I can set two different cooks simultaneously. The app also keeps track of each cook. Very handy!

I have used Meater thermometers ever since the original version was crowd funded, as I needed a wireless thermometer to use with my grill's rotisserie. Every new version has improved upon the previous and the Pro Duo is outstanding. Two probes are better than one and much cheaper than the four probe block. The built-in rechargeable battery is convenient as well. I'm hoping to get many years of use out it.

I've used it a number of times, so far. It works well on 'larger' cuts like roasts and whole chicken. I can not say the same for things like steak. It would also be nice if there was some sort of indicator that the battery needs to be recharged. I have also noticed that the 2 temperature probe register differently when I place them on 2 different ends of the same roast.

After charging one of the thermometers would not sync to the phone. I reviewed and performed all of the trouble shooting tips but to no avail. I'll be returning. It's too expensive to not work.
