The DUO is a great product but it needs help. For the third time since I bought this unit, the "Estimated Cooking Time" software just does not work. It never calculates the cooking time, nor does it give me a rest time period. Vary frustrating.

Hello, and thanks for your feedback on the MEATER Pro Duo. Often times when it appears that the cook estimator is not working, it may actually just be delayed. This can occur for a few different reasons, such as having the probe in very cold meats, slow warm up time of the grill, or constant changes to the cooking appliance’s temperature setting. While this may substantially extend the initial estimate calculation, it'll eventually be provided once the probes reading increases by approximately 16°F/8°C. However, if you believe that this is not the case in your situation, or would just like some help finding out for sure, please reach out to MEATER Customer Service through the contact information available at support.meater.com/contact-us, and one of our agents will be happy to check everything with you to see what needs to be done to get your cook estimates updating as they should be.
I like how this set came with a certificate of calibration. I also like, it’s rechargeable, compared to the Meater + probe I currently have, and the expanded temperature range. This has great improvements! Absolutely love the app! I’ve made meals that I couldn’t before. Home run in my books!
I cannot connect to the meater with my phone. I have been on hold with Meater and cannot make it happen

We are sorry to hear that you are unable to connect your Duo to the app. The first thing to do in these situations is to make sure that your device is compatible, even if it is successfully installed, by checking for your phone's OS version at support.meater.com/faqs/compatible-devices. On that page will also be additional requirements, which are worth verifying for as well. Another reason something like this may occur is if the probes are already paired with a second smart device. To get around this, temporarily disable the Bluetooth on the other device until you have your phone connected. While these are just a couple of steps that can be tried, there are more that can be provided by MEATER Customer Service. And even though some times of day may be busier than others, we have agents available 365 days of the year, until 10:00 PM MT, so you should be able to reach us quickly, when it is still convenient for your schedule.
I have had 2 other models this is my favorite so far. I was unsure of the rechargeable battery since it’s not an everyday use I was concerned it would be dead or die when cooking. Hasn’t been an issue charged up ready to go in 30 minutes. Temps are accurate and really helps keep an eye on crucial cooks. I recommend these to everyone that asks what I use.
it doesn't charge correctly - I have tried to reach out to you guys. maybe its just the box it comes in, but it doesn't work correctly
