The perfect family smart probe

I've owned several generations of Meater probes and this package combo might be the best yet. The Duo base is sleek, charges with USB, and comes with 2 of the new probes with all the sensors as well as WIFI.
Two probes is great when I am doing more than one steak or maybe two chickens for a larger family gathering I am glad to have the second probe capability.

Somewhat disappointed in the tech. No visual indication of low charge until using the app. Red charging indicator never changes colors or turns off even after overnight charge. Have to reset the device each time I attempt to use it in order for probe and base to connect and app to connect.

Hello, and thanks for your review. We have recently made an update to the Pro Duo’s firmware that may address this situation, and also provide longer charge life when the unit is stored. To confirm if your MEATER is using at least v3.0.9.8, tap the 3 dots at the top of the app screen and select My Devices. From there choose your device then press My Paired Extender Devices and look in the firmware field. However, if your Pro Duo is already on the latest version, please reach out to us at MEATER Customer Service through the contact information available at support.meater.com/contact-us.

Excellent Product! The meater Pro Duo is Awesome versatile cooking tool to track temperatures accurately to desired temperatures from grilling smoking braising deep fry & air fry. Love the app it’s user friendly helpful and fun! Makes cooking a breeze highly recommend it to any chef at any level and it’s easy to clean & rechargeable! Love it

2 Probes is Perfect!

I really love the Meater Duo, it was the perfect size (and a great price) because it has 2 probes. That makes it perfect to cook a steak for my husband and myself and make sure they both come out exactly how we like them. Or I can use both probes in a turkey or a bigger roast to make sure the entire thing is evenly cooked! My favorite thing is the app that tells me exactly when the meat will be done cooking (so I can plan the rest of my meal to be done at the same time).

The MEATER Pro Duo is now my go-to cooking tool when I throw down on the grill.
