I give it a 4 star because I love how deep the basket is. It holds a lot of clothes!
However the agitator at the beginning of the wash cycle is SUPER LOUD! I’ve read up on what to do to reduce the noise but haven’t come across an easy fix so I just put up with it.
Also the little area to fill fabric softener. Doesn’t empty after each wash so I’ve been putting in a 1/2 cap or so into the basket before each wash. Maybe it’s supposed to only use what it needs? I need to look that up. .
I stall for the price it’s a good washer

GE Top Load Washer

Yu can actually control the fill level, unlike HE washers which use up more electricity than the old fashioned washers. This washer is excellent.

The product is very loud, does not ring out the clothes very well as they are very wet when the cycle is done.
No instructions provided to find the best way to use the product.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

registration process is not good

Now i have to have i more online account, just to register the washing machine. The process of registering was sort of confusing. Not sure why I could not use my phone number. YOUR REGISTRATION APPLICATION told me it was already used. So what am I to do if I only have 1 phone number?
