THIS WASH MACHINE IS MAKING ALL KINDS ON NOISE WHEN ITS TRYING TO WASH CLOTHES, SOUNDS VERY BAD, SOUNDS LIKE ITS RUBBING METAL TO METAL, I DONT UNDER STAND WHY THE MANUFACTURER DONT TEST THERE PRODUCTS,

It’s only 5 days after installation and the washer is already not working! During the spin cycle it bangs around and has a hot rubber smell with a small load of clothes. They’re not uneven.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The washing machine does an excellent job cleaning the clothes. I like the agitator because it really circulates the clothes and provides a thorough cleansing. The deep rinse ensures all soap and fabric softeners are removed.
I would recommend this to a friend!

One of the worst things I have ever bought

I bought this over a standard, smaller 3.5cubic ft machine in the hopes it would fit a queen sized duvet while still giving me the agitation of an old school machine. Not only does the blanket not fit, but in order for clothes to not stink you have to use the highest water setting possible (auto sense is a joke) and DOUBLE the soap plus an extra rinse to deal with the extra soap. This is a colossal waste of water and soap and TIME (80 minutes for 1 load!). The outer drum is allowed to freely spin with the agitator, weakening the force of clothing being pulled to the center and then raising on the outside. Clothing needs FRICTION to get clean. The people who think their clothes do not stink are probably using fragrance in their detergent. We use no fragrance so when I say the clothes stink, they stink. But that doesn't matter anymore bc after just 5 months the control panel has died. It makes a clicking noise every 10 seconds and the lights flash on for a second when the lid is open but then immediately die. Please, I'm begging you, if you have the means to spend a little extra - get a speed queen. Those puppies last 30 years. The landfill will thank you. And the clear top lid is just a gimmick - it fogs up with warm water so you cant see anything anyway. Be grateful the machines made with METAL parts from our yesteryear still exist and go buy what is built without the express intention to BREAK so you will have to buy more. We vote with our dollar. Vote well.

My last washing machine was a GE profile and it was 17 years old! It just time for a new one! I love this machine! Please understand, I thought it was going to be hard to learn it but it’s so much easier, much larger, and quieter than my last machine! I started looking for stuff to wash! It’s a dream to use and it cleans very well!! So glad I decided on another GE!!
